151. Elizabeth BELEW, GG Granddaughter, F. Born on 7 Nov 1842 in Tennessee. Elizabeth was 60 when she died in Denton, Denton County, Texas on 9 Mar 1903. Elizabeth was buried in IOOF Cemetery, Denton, Denton County, Texas.

Elizabeth moved to Texas with her family and friends in 1856. Her father,
Aaron, established the BELEW Settlement and School, north of Denton, near

She married Samuel Boyd TABOR Sr./Sr., M, on 3 Jun 1858 in Denton County, Texas. Born on 31 Jan 1831 in Madisonville, Monroe County TN. Samuel Boyd was 86 when he died in Denton, Denton County, Texas on 18 Aug 1917. Samuel Boyd was buried in IOOF Cemetery Denton, Denton County, Texas.

SAM'S obituary stated he was married 3 June 1858. " History and Reminiscenses
of Denton County", E. F. BATES, Terrill WHEELER, Denton, Texas, states marriage
on 8 May 1858.

He married Mary Ellen MORGAN, F, on 21 Jan 1867. Born on 2 Oct 1846 in Wisconsin or New York. Mary Ellen was 81 when she died in Vici, Dewey County, OK on 25 Apr 1928.

In the 1870 Denton County Texas census Ellen is listed as being from Iowa.

153. John Boyd BELEW, GG Grandson, M. Born in 1847 in Milan, Tennessee. John Boyd was 89 when he died in Pryor, Mayes County, OK in 1936. John Boyd was buried in Pryor Creek Cemetery, Pryor, Mayes County, OK.

JOHN moved to the Cherokee Nation Jan. 25, 1885. His property was five miles
east of Chelsea. 1870 Denton Co, Texas & 1880 Montague County, Texas census
Served in Confederate Army, County G BOURLANDS Reg. Inlisted in 1863 at Gains-
ville, Texas. He also made application to the Confederate Soldiers' Home and
received a Confederate Pension.

He married Martha "Mattie" BEEBE, F, about 1866. Born in 1848 in Missouri. Martha "Mattie" was 83 when she died in Pryor, Mayes County, OK in 1931. Martha "Mattie" was buried in Pryor Creek Cemetery, Pryor, Mayes County OK.

They had the following children:

iv. Sarah Medora "Dora", GGG Granddaughter, F. Born about 1874 in Montague County, Texas. Sarah Medora "Dora" died.

Birth date from Roxie (1875) & William (1874) Ind. Application in 1907. In
the 1880 Montague County, Texas census she was born circa 1876. She was living in
Kansas City, MO in 1907.

v. Aaron Cuba, GGG Grandson, M. Born in 1877/78 in Denton County, Texas. Aaron Cuba was 29 when he died before 1906.

Birth date from Roxie & William's Ind. Application in 1907. Also Montague County
Texas 1880 census, circa 1877. On John Boyd's Indian Application, Aaron Cuba
was not living in 1906. 1880 Montague County, Texas census.

vi. Roland, GGG Grandson, M. Born about 1878. Roland was 28 when he died before 1906.

Roland was found on 1880 Montague County, Texas census. On 1907 Ind. Application of
brother William, Roland was deceased. William also had him born in 1882 but
since he was on the 1880 census, this has to be a mistake.

vii. Richard Cuba, GGG Grandson, M. Born about 1880 in Montague County, Texas. Richard Cuba died in PROB. 1880.

Richard Cuba does not show up on the 1880 census. His birth date is from
William's Ind. Application in 1907.

viii. Lucinda "Lucy" Jane, GGG Granddaughter, F. Born about 1883 in Denton County, Texas. Lucinda "Lucy" Jane died.

Birth date from Roxie & William's Ind. Application in 1907. Also states she
is living in Kansas City, MO.

ix. Grover Cleveland, GGG Grandson, M. Born in 1887/88 in Montague County, Texas. Grover Cleveland was 53 when he died in Mayes County, OK in 1940. Grover Cleveland was buried in Ross Mayes Cemetery, Salina, Mayes County, OK.

From Indian Application, Roxie states Grover was born 1887 & William 1888.
John Boyd's Application states Grover and Bert were both 17 on 28 May 1906.

154. Mary Ann "Polly" BELEW, GG Granddaughter, F. Born in 1849 in Tennessee. Mary Ann "Polly" was 80 when she died in Pilot Point, Denton County, Texas in 1929. Mary Ann "Polly" was buried in Community (Masonic) Cemetery Pilot Point, Texas.

She married James C. ARNETT, M, on 19 Nov 1878 in Denton County, Texas. James C. died.

JAMES'S property in Cherokee Nation was three and one-half miles east of
Chelsea.

They had the following children:
