670. Annie Laurie BALLARD. Born on 18 Feb 1915 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 89, Annie Laurie died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 22 Feb 2004. Buried on 27 Feb 2004 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Mrs. Ann Ward, 89 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 22, 2004 at the Huntingdon Health & Health Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 27, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Dr. William P. Bailey, Jr. and Dr. Paul Mullikin will officiate the service. Pallbearers who will serve are Gene Burden, Richard Gooch, Harry Easley, John Griffin, Johnny Radford and Roy Tarwarter. Mrs. Ward was born February 18, 1915 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Seba Edward and Ollie (Britt) Ballard. She was a retired sales clerk for Tate's Jewelry and a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Everett Ward, who died in July of 1981. She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Weir of Lawrence, Kansas, Lucille Hatton of Denver, Colorado, one son, Ed Burton Ward of Wichita, Kansas. She leaves five grandchildren, Arnold Weir, Ann Ricketts, Lorie Stubbs, Jane Hatton and Julie Finn. On 5 Jul 1946 when Annie Laurie was 31, she married Edmund Everett WARD. Edmund Everett died on 25 Jul 1981. Buried in Jul 1981 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
