Family of Ellender SCOTT (18) & John TOSH Junior

68. Margaret TOSH. Born in 1826. At the age of 52, Margaret died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1878. Buried in 1878 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 9 Feb 1859 when Margaret was 33, she married Ansel W. ROARK, son of Elijah ROARK (1798-1858) & Easter JOYNER (1804-1895), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 29 Sep 1830 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 40, Ansel W. died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1871. Buried in 1871 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Military: Served in the Confederate Army in Arkansas. He was blinded and later moved back to Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Sarah H.. Born about 1860.

iii. Mary. Born about 1871. Alias/AKA: "Molly".

69. Emeretta TOSH. Born about 1842 in Tennessee. Religion: Member of Williams Chapel Church of Christ, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 12 Dec 1865 when Emeretta was 23, she married William E. WILLIAMS, son of Thomas WILLIAMS (1803-1852) & Harriet BLAIR (1809-1861), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1835 in North Carolina. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

They had the following children:
i. Joseph. Born in 1867. Alias/AKA: "Joe".
ii. Missie B.. Born in May 1868. At the age of 12, Missie B. died on 17 Jun 1880. Buried in Jun 1880 in Blair Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.
157 iii. Ella Victoria (1870-1946)
iv. Thomas. Born in 1870 in Carroll County, Tennessee.
158 v. William Elvis (1872-1935)
159 vi. Mary Ada (1880-)

ix. Dolly.

Lelia married Gus GANDY.
