173. John William GIBSON. Born on 6 Sep 1921 in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, John William died in Decatur County, Tennessee on 21 Dec 1991. Buried in Dec 1991 in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Decatur County, Tennessee.

John William married Virgie Lee CHUMNEY, daughter of Samuel CHUMNEY & Laura SCOTT.

They had the following children:

iii. Jimmy Lee.

Jimmy Lee first married Nancy Ann McALESTER.

Jimmy Lee second married Linda Dianne WILLIAMS.

174. Viola Mai GIBSON. Born on 17 Jul 1923 in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Burton, Genesee County, Michigan in 1991.

On 24 Dec 1942 when Viola Mai was 19, she married Chester W. FLOWERS, son of Festus Ira FLOWERS (1884-1980) & Cora Paralee EVANS (1891-1952). Born on 11 Nov 1916. At the age of 79, Chester W. died in Parsons, Decatur County, Tennessee on 8 Jul 1996. Buried in Jul 1996 in Duke's Chapel Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1982. Occupation: Factory worker.

Military: Chester Flowers served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

They had the following children:

175. Mary Viuna GIBSON.

Mary Viuna married W.B. MOORE.
