Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1880. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900.

Hessie Jane Stanford was listed in the 1900 Census as widowed with two children, Luther & Claudie. Mattie was living with her uncle, Leonard Stanford.

Hessie J. married John PETTY. Born in Tennessee.

John Petty died before 1900.

13. John Thomas STANFORD. Born on 24 Apr 1864 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, John Thomas died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 24 Nov 1948. Buried in 1948 in Spain Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1870. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1880. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920. Alias/AKA: "Doc".

John Thomas first married Frances Paralee GATLIN (29) , daughter of Louis Thomas GATLIN (9) (1845-1921) & Sarah Jane GOLDEN (1845-1931). Born on 24 Aug 1871 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Leonard David married Nancy Cora SMITH, daughter of Archibald Pinkley SMITH (1856-1930) & Mary Lavica SMITH (1854-1920). Born on 12 Mar 1883 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 9 Jan 1908 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, John Garland died on 13 Jun 1995. Buried in Jun 1995 in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Johnie".
