First Generation

1. Robert GRIGGS. Born in 1757 in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Robert died in Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 16 Aug 1781 when Robert was 24, he married Susannah CASH, in Granville County, North Carolina. Born in 1767 in Granville County, North Carolina.

They had the following children:
2 i. William (1785-)
3 ii. Elkins (1796-)
4 iii. Lee (1788-1870)
