Family of Ada Frances BELEW (209) & Benjamin Jacob TRAWICK

478. Maynard T. TRAWICK, GGG Granddaughter, F. Born in 1897 in Carroll County, TN. Maynard T. was 84 when she died in Carroll County, TN in 1981.

Maynard is the great granddaughter of Jacob and Sarah Wilmouth BELEW, some of
the earlest settlers of Carroll County, and she was also the great great
granddaughter of Nathan Nesbitt, b. 1778 d. 1828, early settler and 1st Court
Chairman for Carroll county. After her husband's death, Maynard founded what
is now MADDOX & KELLEY Insurance Agency.

She married Dwayne D. MADDOX, M, in Carroll County, TN. Born in 1897 in Carroll County, TN. Dwayne D. was 48 when he died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, TN in 1945.

Dwayne graduated Law School, Cumberland University in 1918 and practiced law
in Hnutingdon until his death, during which time he was U.S. Attorney for
Western TN, 1913-33 and was a candidate for the U.S. Senate.
