He married Nell Mae DUNCAN, F. Born on 8 Aug 1902. Nell Mae was 67 when she died in Carroll County, TN on 11 May 1970. Nell Mae was 67 when she was buried in Sellers Hill Cemetery, nr. Clarksburg on 13 May 1970.

Services for Mrs. Nell Mae DUNCAN BELEW, 67, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13,
at Huntingdon Church of Christ with burial in Sellers Cemetery. She died Mon.
night at Carroll County General Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Herschel
BELEW; one son, Herschel BELEW JR., of Huntsville, AL, one daughter, Mrs.
Virginia Goodman of Huntingdon; two brothers, Walter Duncan of Arlington
Heights, IL and HOmer Duncan of Alexander, VA., and one sister, Mrs. Ruby
Lucas of Huntingdon. Dilday Funeral Home had charge. [Newspaper - May 14 1970]
