1084. Evon MILAM. Born on 9 Sep 1929 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Evon died in Clarksburg, West Virginia on 9 May 2005. Buried on 13 May 2005 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA: Services for Evon Ashby, 75, were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, at the Clarksburg Church of Christ with Brother Billy Ringold and Brother Bill Crossno officiating. Interment followed in Sellers Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Ashby died Monday, May 9, in Clarksburg, West Virginia. She was born September 9, 1929, in Carroll County, to the late Rice and Tweedie Milam. She was a retired production worker for Publix Shirt Factory and a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Shook of Clarksburg, West Virginia, and Rita Kicker of Herman, Missouri; one brother, Lloyd Milam of Clarksburg; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Ashby; three brothers, Weldon Milam, Clyde Milam and Billy Ray Milam; and one great-granddaughter. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. On 9 Nov 1957 when Evon was 28, she married J.D. ASHBY, son of W.N. ASHBY (1891-) & Vonnie ? (1901-). Born on 12 Mar 1929. At the age of 57, J.D. died on 23 Dec 1986. Buried in Dec 1986 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
1085. Billy Ray MILAM. Born on 17 Jun 1934 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 60, Billy Ray died on 29 Apr 1995. Buried in Apr 1995 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. In 1957 when Billy Ray was 22, he married Frances Lee CLARK, daughter of Ben Julian CLARK (1910-2001) & Lillie Mae WOOD (1916-), in Tennessee. Born on 14 Aug 1937 in Tennessee. Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jul 2003. They had the following children:
1086. Lloyd Edwin MILAM. Lloyd Edwin married Marvonell WALKER, daughter of Levi Priest WALKER (1894-1954) & Lula Marie UTLEY (1896-). Born on 13 Mar 1936. Resided in Westport, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2000. They had the following children:
