Marriage Announcement: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thomas Smothers of Huntingdon announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jill Annette, to Robert Seth Bennett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burton Bennett of Huntingdon. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Douglas Rich and Mrs. Thomas Leo Smothers, all of Huntingdon. Jill is a 1996 graduate of Huntingdon High School and a 2000 graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University in August, 2001. She is currently employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Paris Henry County Medical Center in Paris. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. Gailford Weldon Bennett of Huntingdon and the late Mrs. Brooxie Bennett, Mrs. Lucille Brewer of Huntingdon and the late Mr. Enoch Brewer. Seth is a 1966 graduate of Huntingdon High School. He graduated from Jackson State Community College in 1998 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in History from Union University in May 2001. He is currently employed at the Huntingdon Animal Clinic and will be attending law school this fall. You are cordially invited to attend the wedding ceremony on June 15th at 6:30 p.m. at the Huntingdon Church of Christ.
