On 25 Dec 1957 when Melba Sue was 22, she married Luther Stanton PATTON Junior, son of Luther Stanton PATTON Senior & Juanita Anne SCHAKER, in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 24 Mar 1938 in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida. Alias/AKA: "Pat".

They had the following children:
