Around 1968 when Carl was 25, he married Doris Nell SEGRAVES, daughter of Raymond SEGRAVES (1918-1985) & Dorothy GOOCH (1924-1982). Born on 11 Feb 1947. At the age of 50, Doris Nell died on 16 Dec 1997. Buried in Dec 1997 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
760. Virginia Ruth MANN. Born on 1 Nov 1931 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 72, Virginia Ruth died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 28 Feb 2004. Buried on 1 Mar 2004 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Mrs. Virginia Ruth Simmons, 72, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, February 28, 2004 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 1, 2004 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Bro. Marty Johnson will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home after 4:00 PM on Sunday and from 8:00 AM until time of services on Monday. Mrs. Simmons was born November, 1, 1931 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late William Otha and Oma Lee (Weaver) Mann. She was a retired sewing machine operator for the Publix Shirt Corporation and attended the First United Pentecostal Church in Camden. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Carl Mann. She is survived by three daughters, Regina (Lannie) Bradley, and Terry (Edwin) Meggs, both of Huntingdon, and Denise (Joe) Baumgardner of Jackson; one son, Junior (Donna) Simmons of Huntingdon; three sisters, Gladys Mann, and Guyneth Mann, both of Huntingdon, and Ann Hopper of Hollow Rock; one brother, Leroy Mann of Huntingdon. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Lori Pritchard, Kelli Bradley, Jill Simmons, David Simmons, Jared Meggs, Lauren Meggs, Mallory Baumgardner, and Alli Baumgardner; two step grandchildren, Jesse Bradley and Marty Bradley; one great grandson, and six step great grandchildren. Virginia Ruth married ? SIMMONS. They had the following children:
