Obituary: Virginia Massey Davidson, 76, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, formerly of Huntingdon, passed away August 2, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 4, in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Mickey Carpenter officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Davidson, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Virgil Massey, was an accomplished singer, dancer, and actor, who trained at Stephen's College and directed community musical/variety productions, in addition to performing as a soloist at church and social functions. She was active in the United Methodist Church and the Democratic Party in Carroll and Benton Counties, President of Wesleyan Services Guild, President of Local PTA and PTA Council, Chairman of the Cancer Crusade, March of Dimes and Heart Fund Drive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyly P. Davidson, Jr.; and a brother, William Harper Massey. She is survived by two daughters, Janet Davidson of Nashville and Dianne Davidson of Rochester, New York; a son, Brent Davidson of Nashville; and three grandsons, Jason, Ryan, and Conner Davidson, all of Nashville. Virginia married Wyly P. DAVIDSON Junior. They had the following children:
