711. Virginia MASSEY. Born in 1925. At the age of 76, Virginia died on 2 Aug 2001. Buried on 4 Aug 2001 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Virginia Massey Davidson, 76, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, formerly of Huntingdon, passed away August 2, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 4, in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Mickey Carpenter officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Davidson, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Virgil Massey, was an accomplished singer, dancer, and actor, who trained at Stephen's College and directed community musical/variety productions, in addition to performing as a soloist at church and social functions. She was active in the United Methodist Church and the Democratic Party in Carroll and Benton Counties, President of Wesleyan Services Guild, President of Local PTA and PTA Council, Chairman of the Cancer Crusade, March of Dimes and Heart Fund Drive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyly P. Davidson, Jr.; and a brother, William Harper Massey. She is survived by two daughters, Janet Davidson of Nashville and Dianne Davidson of Rochester, New York; a son, Brent Davidson of Nashville; and three grandsons, Jason, Ryan, and Conner Davidson, all of Nashville.

Virginia married Wyly P. DAVIDSON Junior.

They had the following children:
i. Janet. Born in 1947. Resided in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in Aug 2001.

Janet married Michael STANTON.

iii. Dianne. Born in 1953. Resided in Rochester, New York in Aug 2001.
