Gerald Wayne married Patti Sue TATE, daughter of William Jess TATE (1886-1948) & Ebbie RUSH (1889-1976). Born on 15 Sep 1930. At the age of 72, Patti Sue died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 30 Nov 2002. Buried on 2 Dec 2002 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Aug 2001.

Obituary: Services for Pattie Sue Scott, 72, will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2002 at Reed's Chapel. Burial will follow in Farmsville Cemetery. Mrs. Scott died Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Belew of Clarksburg, Donna Alexander of Lexington and Sherry Western of Parsons; two sons, Randall Scott of Parsons and Russell Scott of Lexington; three brothers, Joe Tate and James Tate of Wildersville and John Tate of Lexington; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara and Bonita Scott and her husband, Gerald Scott.

Betty Lou SCOTT. Born on 24 Aug 1933 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 72, Betty Lou died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 30 Dec 2005. Buried on 1 Jan 2006 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in May 2003.

Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lou Rickman-Stratton are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 1, 2006 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Farmsville Cemetery. Mrs. Stratton died Friday at her home in Wildersville. She was born August 24, 1933 in Wildersville to the late Elgar and Cornelia Walker Scott. She was a retired employee of The Jackson Sun and a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She married the late Frank Rickman, Sr. in 1950 and to this union were born five children. Mrs. Stratton was also preceded in death by her second husband, Mr. James A. Stratton, a brother, Jerald Scott, and a grandson, John Cody Rickman. She is survived by her five children, Frank (Melanie) Rickman, Jr. of Lexington, Jeff (Beth) Rickman of Wildersville, Terry (Lisa) Rickman of Lexington, John Rickman of Wildersville and Renee (Mike) Melton of Jackson; a step-son, Tim (Kathy) Stratton of Henderson; a sister, Gilda Scott Bolen of Tryon, NC; grandchildren, Vincent and Joshua Hatchett, Will, Marcus, Chelsea, Cole, Taylor, Kaci, Trent, Matt, Tessa, Sarah and Hanna-Rose Rickman and Jennifer Blackwell; three great-grandchildren, Alayna, Gauge, and Alexis Blackwell and one step-grandson, Tony Stratton. The family will receive friends today from 4:00 until 10:00 PM and tomorrow from 8:30 AM until the time of services.



On 11 Feb 1950 when Betty Lou was 16, she first married Dewey Frank RICKMAN Senior, son of ? RICKMAN. Born on 13 Jul 1931. At the age of 59, Dewey Frank died on 6 Sep 1990. Buried in Sep 1990 in Farmville Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

STRATTON Senior & Hassie Mae USERY. Born in 1924 in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, James A. died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 13 Dec 2004. Buried on 15 Dec 2004 in Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Jimmy".

Obituary: Funeral services for James A. "Jimmy" Stratton, 80, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2004 in the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Reverend Clint Sanders and Reverend Bob Watson officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mr. Stratton died Monday, December 13, 2004 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born in Jackson, TN son of the late James A. and Hassie Mae Usery Stratton, Sr. and was educated in the local schools. He was a retired Circulation Operations Manager for the Jackson Sun. Mr. Stratton was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He was first married to Mary Idalia Waller Stratton, who preceded him in death and to this union was born a son Tim (Kathleen) Stratton of Henderson, TN; a grandson James Anthony Stratton of Henderson, TN, who is currently attending Virginia Polytechnic University; a step-granddaughter, Leah A. (Jason) Davis Holman of Henderson and two step- great-grandchildren. Surviving from his second union in marriage are his wife, Mrs. Betty Rickman Stratton of Jackson, TN; a step-daughter, Renee (Mike) Melton of Jackson, TN; four step-sons, Frank (Melanie) Rickman and Terry (Lisa) Rickman all of Lexington, TN, Jeff (Beth) Rickman and John David (Tabitha) Rickman all of Wildersville, TN; fourteen step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers to serve are Gerald Parish, Danny Ray Waynick, Frank Rickman, Jr., Jeff Rickman, Terry Rickman and John Rickman. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Stratton, Sandy Lifsey, Hunt Richards, Harold Johnson and James Truett. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
