Family of Rebecca Elizabeth HAMPTON (252) & Enoch BREWER

553. Ollie BREWER. Born on 12 Nov 1904. At the age of 91, Ollie died on 25 Dec 1995. Buried in Dec 1995 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 10 Sep 1922 when Ollie was 17, she married Thomas Wade HILLIARD. Born in 1902. At the age of 56, Thomas Wade died on 8 Sep 1958. Buried in Sep 1958 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Benjamin Glenn. Born on 9 Jan 1924. At the age of 6, Benjamin Glenn died on 18 Jun 1930. Buried in Jun 1930 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

554. Enoch Leon BREWER. Enoch Leon died on 16 Mar 1984.

Enoch Leon married Lucille WILKES (550) , daughter of Curtis W. WILKES (1898-1964) & Carrie Elizabeth KELLEY (250) (1903-1999). Born on 17 Mar 1925 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 79, Lucille died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 1 Jun 2004. Buried on 3 Jun 2004 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Mrs. Velma Lucille Brewer, 79, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 3, 2004 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Brother Wayne Holmes will officiate the services. Mrs. Brewer was born March 17, 1925 in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late Curtis W. and Carrie Kelley Wilkes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Palmer Shelter United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Leon Brewer, who passed away on March 16, 1984, and four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by four daughters, Linda Parker of Bruceton, Pam Compton of Memphis, Sharon (Burton) Bennett and Toni Sawyers both of Huntingdon; three sons, Tim (Amy) Brewer of Huntingdon, Terry (Dacia) Brewer and Tracy (Paula) Brewer both of Jackson; three brothers, James Wilkes of Soddy Daisy, TN, Jerry Wilkes of Culver City, CA and Wendell Wilkes of Herington, KS. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers who served were grandsons Craig Parker, Brent Fronabarger, Clint Compton, Will Compton, Seth Bennett, Josh Fronabarger, Cullen Brewer and Christopher Brewer.



They had the following children:

iv. Tracy. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in Jun 2004.

v. Linda. Resided in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jun 2004.
vi. Pam. Resided in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee in Jun 2004.
vii. Tim. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jun 2004.
