Obituary: Services for Wilma Sue Crossett, 69, of Camden, were held Monday, November 14, at 1:00 p.m. at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ed Ballard and Bro. Mike Eaton officiating. Burial was in Benton Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Crossett passed away Friday, November 11, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. She was born September 14, 1936, in Clarksburg to the late Ben and Susie Pinkley Smith. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Harold Crossett; two daughters, Jennifer Hope (Miles) Taylor of Beaumont, Texas, and Jeanenne Holly (Bobby) Watts of New Johnsonville; two sons, Jeffery Harold (Renee) Crossett of Camden and James Halbert (Amy) Crossett of Elverson, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Sylvia Whitaker of Yuma, Sharon Weatherford of Clarksburg and Sandra Howe of Bruceton; and eight grandchildren. On 25 Dec 1954 when Wilma Sue was 18, she married Herbert Harold CROSSETT, son of Herbert CROSSETT & Lela SAMPSON, in Corinth, Alcorn County, Mississippi. Resided in Camden, Benton County, Tennessee in Nov 2005. They had the following children:
475. Sandra Carol SMITH. Resided in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee in Nov 2005. Sandra Carol first married Billy Joe JORDAN Senior, son of Curtis JORDAN & Edith SMOTHERS. Born on 6 May 1938 in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 24, Billy Joe died on 22 Dec 1962. Buried in Dec 1962 in Prospect Cemetery, Hollow Rock, Carroll County, Tennessee. They had one child:
Sandra Carol second married Thomas Dwayne HOWE, son of Connie HOWE & Eva EDWARDS. They had one child:
476. Bennie Sharon SMITH. Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jun 2003. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in Nov 2005. Bennie Sharon married Alton Charles WEATHERFORD, son of Alton Edgar WEATHERFORD (1907-2002) & Ruby Frances GOFF (1913-). Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in Dec 2002.
