Born on 23 Dec 1909 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 92, Novie Marie died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 8 Jan 2002. Buried on 14 Jan 2002 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in Mar 2000. Obituary: Novie Marie Mann, 92, of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, January 8, at the Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center. Services were held on Friday, January 11, in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Bill Goodpasture officiated. Burial followed at Sellers Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Sam Bailey, Tim Mann, Kevin Mann, Chip McWilliams, Charles Crider and Danny Woodard. Mrs. Mann, the daughter of the late Caleb and Sarah Simpson Roark, was born December 23, 1909, in Carroll County. She was a retired employee of Publix Shirt Corp, and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newt Mann, Sr., and a son, James Marvin Mann. She is survived by a son, Newt Mann, Jr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Corine Carnal and Addie Scott, both of Huntingdon; a brother, Audrain Roark of Nashville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. They had the following children:
374. Zelma Zula MANN. Born on 29 Jul 1911 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 88, Zelma Zula died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 29 Jan 2000. Buried in Jan 2000 in Christian Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Zula Dill, 88, of Cedar Grove, died Saturday, January 29, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services were held on Monday, January 31, at the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Brother Doug Sellers officiated the services. Dilday Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Dill, the daughter of the late Homer and Lydia Hardy Mann, was born July 29, 1911. She was a retired employee of Publix Shirt Factory and a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. She is survived by four daughters, Faye Sellers, Floye Ledsinger, Brooksie Parham, all of Huntingdon, and Marjorie Hampton of Hollow Rock; two sons, Tommy Otis Dill of Bruceton and Kenneth E. Dill of Lebanon; three sisters, Verdie Wooters and Mable McMackin, both of Huntingdon, and Aline Daniels of Murfreesboro; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandson. On 19 Dec 1926 when Zelma Zula was 15, she married Matthew Alton DILL (246) , son of Thomas Ellwood DILL (1867-1934) & Leonia Haseltine SCOTT (117) (1870-1964). Born on 24 Aug 1904 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 58, Matthew Alton died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 8 Sep 1962. Buried in Sep 1962 in Christian Chapel Church of Christ, Carroll County, Tennessee. They had the following children:
375. Verda Lena MANN. Born on 27 Dec 1915 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, Verda Lena died in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee on 31 Aug 2003. Buried on 2 Sep 2003 in Twin Oaks Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: Mrs. Verda Lena Wooters, 87, died on Sunday, August 31 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, September 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Twin Oaks Church of Christ with Bro. Steve Wilkinson and Brother Donny Gateley officiating. Interment followed in the Twin Oaks Cemetery. Mrs. Wooters was born on December 27, 1915 in Carroll County to the late Homer and Lyda Mann. She was a homemaker and a member of the Twin Oaks Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Boyd Wooters, who passed away in September 1991 and one son, Jerry Wooters who passed away in 1987. Survivors include two sons, Charles Wooters of Huntingdon and Glenn Wooters of Shelbyville, Kentucky; three daughters, Betty Thompson and Arlene Wilkes, both of Huntingdon and Carol Wentworth of Colonial Heights, Virginia; one sister, Arlene Daniels of Murfreesboro; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Verda Lena married David Boyd WOOTERS. David Boyd died in Sep 1991. They had the following children:
