William Vedus SCOTT. Born on 26 Mar 1905 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, William Vedus died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 18 Apr 1989. Buried in Apr 1989 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Occupation: Farmer and mechanic. Religion: Church of Christ. Alias/AKA: "Vedus".

On 20 Feb 1926 when William Vedus was 20, he married Nancy Minerva DOUGLAS, daughter of Sidney Albert DOUGLAS (1875-1918) & Willie Jefferson MEALS (1881-1954), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 22 Feb 1908 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 93, Nancy Minerva died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 10 Jun 2001. Buried on 11 Jun 2001 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

Obituary: Nancy M. Scott, 93, of Clarksburg, died Sunday, June 10, at Jackson-Madison General Hospital. Services were held on Monday, June 11, at Clarksburg Church of Christ. Burial followed in Sellers Hill Cemetery. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Scott, the daughter of the late Sid and Willie Mills [Meals] Douglas, was born February 22, 1908, in Carroll County. She was a retired employee of Modern Cleaners and a member of Clarksburg Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a son, John Edward Scott. She is survived by a daughter, Adell Ross of Clarksburg; two sons, Hulon Scott of Mason and Lyndol Scott of Clarksburg; a sister, Opal Gately of Cedar Grove; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

301. Edith SCOTT. Born on 23 Mar 1907 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, Edith died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 23 Sep 1977. Buried in Sep 1977 in Palestine Cemetery, 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

Edith married John R. PENDERGRASS, son of John Manley PENDERGRASS (1861-1932) & Sarah Letha ROSS (1865-1932). Born on 1 Mar 1906 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, John R. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 3 Sep 1965. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

303. Ovie L. SCOTT. Born on 12 Nov 1910 in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 93, Ovie L. died in Fort Wayne, Indiana on 2 Nov 2004. Buried on 5 Nov 2004 in Sellers Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2000.

Obituary: HUNTINGON: Services for Ovie Beville, 93, were conducted on Friday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Sellers Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Beville died on Tuesday, November 2 at the Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born November 12, 1910 in Clarksburg to the late Early and Callie Williams Scott. She was a self-employed child care provider and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Beville; four brothers, J.D. Scott, Vedus Scott, Houston Scott, and Curtis Scott and three sisters, Edith Pendergrass, Oma Lee Ellis and Ruth Nell Ellis. Survivors include a daughter, Gayle Beville-Dada of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a son, Allen Beville of Wilmington, North Carolina; a sister, Buelah Anderson of Tennessee and a brother, Warren G. Scott of Huntsville, Alabama; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.

Ovie L. married Sammie BEVILLE.

They had the following children:
i. Gayle. Resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana in Mar 2004. Resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana in Nov 2004.

Curtis Buford SCOTT. Born on 29 Jul 1912 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, Curtis Buford died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 27 Feb 2000. Buried on 29 Feb 2000 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

Obituary: Curtis B . Scott, 87, of Clarksburg, died Sunday, February 27, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 29, at the Clarksburg Church of Christ. Burial followed in the Sellers Hill Cemetery. Brothers Bill Crossno and Eric Lyons officiated the services. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Scott, the son of the late William Early and Callie Williams Scott, was born July 29, 1912, in Carroll County. He was a sheet metal worker and a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mrs. Lula Nell Scott; a son, Robert Scott of Clarksburg; a daughter, Dianne Cannon of Clarksburg; two sisters, Beulah Anderson of Ardmore, Alabama, and Ovie Bevill of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; a brother, Warren Scott of Huntsville, Alabama; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.

In 1936 when Curtis Buford was 23, he married Lula Nell MITCHELL, daughter of Robert Daniel MITCHELL (1900-1944) & Sarah Emmie WHITEHORN (1903-1976), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 28 Aug 1921.

305. Beulah SCOTT. Born on 18 May 1915 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 90, Beulah died in Pulaski, Tennessee on 30 Sep 2005. Buried on 3 Oct 2005 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Ardmore, Alabama in 2000.

Residence: Mrs. Beulah Marie Scott Anderson, 90, of Ardmore, Tennessee, formerly of Clarksburg, passed away Friday, September 30, 2005 at the Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 3, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Clarksburg Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Sellers Hill Cemetery. Bro. Martin Klamm will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home after 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday and at the Clarksburg Church of Christ from 11:30 A.M. until time of services on Monday. Pallbearers who serve are Bennie Hardy, Billy Hardy, Kenny Peterson, Billy Springer, and Kent Bucy. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Burress, Frank Rushing, Warren G. Scott, Wade Jones, Nick Parker, and Jimmy Rhoades. Mrs. Anderson was born May 18, 1915 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Early and Callie (Williams) Scott. She was a retired factory worker for the Henry I Seigel Company after 28 years of service and a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Alex Anderson, who passed away in 1990. She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Eaton (husband Roy) of Ardmore, Alabama, one son, Larry Anderson (wife Vickie) of Jackson, and one brother, Warren G. Scott of Huntsville Alabama. She also leaves three grandchildren, James Eaton and Brenda Silas, both of Ardmore, Alabama, John Anderson of Knoxville and four great grandchildren.

On 10 Nov 1937 when Beulah was 22, she married John Alexander ANDERSON, son of Cornelius M. ANDERSON (1871-1942) & Sudie JOHNSON (1878-1947). Born on 10 Nov 1914 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, John Alexander died on 9 May 1990. Buried in May 1990 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Alias/AKA: "Alex".

306. Oma Lee SCOTT. Born on 9 May 1919 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Oma Lee died on 15 Apr 1995. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

Oma Lee married James Lester ELLIS, son of Obey Lee ELLIS (1900-1968) & Nancy Ann BAKER (1906-1999). Born on 19 Nov 1921. At the age of 66, James Lester died on 29 Aug 1988. Alias/AKA: "Tac".

308. Ruth Nell SCOTT. Born on 2 Nov 1924 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 72, Ruth Nell died on 10 Feb 1997. Buried in Feb 1997 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

Ruth Nell married Leonard Granville ELLIS, son of Clayton ELLIS & Lular NOLES. Born in 1926.
