Scott, 75, of Selmer, died Saturday, November 24, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 26, at Shackelford Funeral Home. Malcom George officiated. The body was cremated. Mr. Scott was the son of the late Elijah E. and Dora Abby Douglas Scott. He was retired from Owens Corning, a member of 4th Street Church of Christ, and an Army Sgt. for World War II Pacific Theatre. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Sid, Curtis and R.V. He is survived by his wife, Louise Holland Scott; two daughters, Debra Lynn Forsyth of Selmer and Tammy Louise Browder of Northport, Washington; three sons, Stephan Paul Scott of Murfreesboro, Victor Glyn Scott of San Antonio, Texas, and John Houston Scott of Christiana; and nine grandchildren, Brent Michael Scott, Amanda Louise Forsyth, Timothy Edward Scott, Scott David Browder, Sarah Lynne Forsyth, Alicia Marie Browder, Thomas Paul Browder, Kelsey Amber Scott and Lydia Grace Scott. Paul married Louise HOLLAND. They had the following children:
