On 30 Nov 1933 when Carl L. was 26, he married Frances Louise CARTER. Born on 3 Aug 1909.

They had one child:

273. Virgie RIGSBY. Born on 16 Oct 1909. At the age of 86, Virgie died in Shartlesbille, Pennsylvania in Jun 1996. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920.

Virgie married Robert Anderson FRY.

They had the following children:

ii. Mary Jean. Born on 18 Oct 1941.

Mary Jean married Maurice DICKSON.

iii. Marjorie Jane. Born on 18 Oct 1941.


274. Eller RIGSBY. Born on 5 Dec 1911. Resided in Bradenton, Florida in Jan 2005.

Eller first married James Paul LEWIS. Born on 4 Feb 1909. At the age of 55, James Paul died on 14 Oct 1964. Buried in Oct 1964 in Tate Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

ii. Harold Eugene. Born on 28 Jan 1932. At the age of 6, Harold Eugene died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 14 Dec 1938. Buried in Dec 1938 in Tate Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Harld Eugene Lewis was struck by a gravel truck and killed on 14 December 1938.

Eller second married Harold J. MONTEITH. Harold J. died on 28 Feb 1993.

275. Chester Henry RIGSBY. Born on 18 Jan 1918. At the age of 87, Chester Henry died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 24 Jan 2005. Buried on 26 Jan 2005 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll county, Tennessee. Resided in District 7, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920.

Obituary: Mr. Chester Henry Rigsby, 87, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday, January 24, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Sellers Hill Cemetery. Bro. Dan Winkler will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday. Mr. Rigsby was born January 18, 1918 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Leonard Roscoe Rigsby and Ora (Scott) Rigsby. He was a retired Supervisor for the Nashville Electric Service, a World War II Army Veteran, and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Pauline Rigsby, who died August 19, 1998, one brother, Carl Rigsby, and one sister, Virgie Fry. He is survived by two daughters, Pamela Beasley (husband Charlie) of Huntingdon and Connie Dotterer of Nashville; two sons, Kelly Rigsby (wife Fran) of Sandwich, Illinois and Randall Rigsby (wife Esther) of Goldsboro, North Carolina; two sisters, Iona Lewis of Berwyn, Illinois and Eler Montieth of Bradenton, Florida and one brother, John Rigsby of Bemis. He also leaves twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.



On 20 Mar 1942 when Chester Henry was 24, he married Thelma Pauline CARY. Born on 11 Jun 1922. At the age of 76, Thelma Pauline died on 19 Aug 1998.

They had the following children:

ii. Connie. Resided in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in Jan 2005.

iii. Kelly. Resided in Sandwich, Illinois in Jan 2005.

Kelly married Fran ?.

iv. Randall. Resided in Goldsboro, North Carolina in Jan 2005.

Randall married Esther ?.


276. Caulie RIGSBY. Born on 5 Feb 1920.

On 11 Feb 1939 when Caulie was 19, he married Erin Inez HILLIARD.

They had the following children:
i. Charles Dwayne. Born on 1 Oct 1940.

ii. Harold Edwin. Harold Edwin died in 1947.


277. Iona RIGSBY. Born on 15 Jan 1923. Resided in Berwyn, Illinois in Jan 2005.

Iona married Clayton LEWIS.

They had the following children:
i. Jerry Franklin.

ii. Michael.

iii. Joseph.
