Obituary: Services for Dorothy R. Scott, 75, were at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, July 6 at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant. Interment followed in Trezevant Cemetery. Mrs. Scott, a retired factory worker, died Tuesday, July 3 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis of heart failure. She was a member of Trezevant Church of Christ. She was born November 4, 1925 in Huntingdon to the late Sammy Doris Reed and George Martin Reed. Survivors include her husband, Cecil Scott; one daughter, Brenda K. Harrison of Memphis; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Etheridge. Born on 28 Dec 1908 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 90, Etheridge died in Huntingdon, Tennessee on 13 Mar 1999. Buried on 15 Mar 1999 in Christian Chapel, Carroll County, Tennessee.
Obituary: Etheridge Scott, 90, of Huntingdon, died Saturday, March 13, at his home. Services were held on Monday, March 15, at the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Brother Doug Sellers Officiated the services. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Scott, the son of the late Luther and Sudie Hood Scott, was born December 28, 1908, in Carroll County. He was a retired employee for the State of Tennessee Highway Department and a farmer. After his retirement from the state, he worked part-time for the Huntingdon Stockyard. He was a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Cooper Scott, who died January 6, 1992.
He is survived by a stepson, James Cooper of Huntingdon; two sisters, Margaret Hilliard of McKenzie and Frances Forrest of Huntingdon; two brothers, Charlie Scott and Cecil Scott, both of Trezevant; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers who served were Homer Hicks, Jimmie Cooper, Terry Higdon, Johnnie Frazee, Ray Frazee and Larry Scott.
Etheridge married Pauline ARNOLD. Born in 1917. At the age of 75, Pauline died on 6 Jan 1992.
