Family of Minnie L. PINCKLEY (97) & Charles William KEE The grandchildren of Vera Taylor observed her 93rd birthday with an open house on Sunday, September 20, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friends, family and neighbors came by with gifts, cards, and Happy Birthday wishes. Punch, birthday cake, mints, and nuts were served. James & Odell Pinckley, Hollow Rock; Joe Pate and son, Jesse B. Pinckley, Vergie Mae Johnson, Bud, Joy & Luke Thompson, Jerry & Dorothy McGee, Nolen & Cornelia Grant, Charles Carolyn & Jimmy Lankford, Imogene Hill, Mary Williams, all from Huntingdon. We thank the Lord for blessing us with such a grand lady as our Grandmother and letting us have her and our children getting to know her. We all love you, Grandmother. You gave us a good Christian example to live by. Donna, Brenda, Judy, Joe, Tony, Grandchildren. Tammy, Mike, Jamie, Jill, Leann, Renea, Mary, Joe, Jennifer, and Jessie, Great-Grandchildren. Valerie, Steve, Danny, Great-Great-Grandchildren. One grandson, Joe H. Taylor, and family were unable to attend. On 30 Jul 1912 when Vera E. was 18, she married William Jessie TAYLOR, son of Samuel Henderson TAYLOR (1863-1957) & Mary Elizabeth OLIVE (1864-1940), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born in 1890 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 83, William Jessie died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1973. Buried in 1973 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Jess". William Jessie Taylor departed Tennessee for Texas on 29 May 1911 and returned on May 2, 1913 They had the following children:
198. Tommy KEE. Born in 1903. At the age of 85, Tommy died in 1988. Buried in 1988 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Tommy first married Thomas RUSH, son of John R. RUSH (1865-1949) & Sarah MYRACLE (1866-1960). Born in 1888. At the age of 74, Thomas died in 1962. Buried in 1962 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Tom". Tommy second married Roddie R. McDANIEL, son of Samuel R. McDANIEL (1874-1955) & Jodie CONLEY (1873-1908). Born on 24 Feb 1894 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 76, Roddie R. died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 30 Jun 1970. Buried in Jun 1970 in Jones Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in District 17, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1900. Resided in Old District 17, District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920.
