Family of Thomas Wood PINCKLEY (10) & Polly HOLMES

41. Scott PINCKLEY. Born in 1839 in Tennessee. At the age of 68, Scott died in 1907. Buried in 1907 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

Military: Scott served in Company G, 7th Cavalry (US) as a Sergeant in the American Civil War.

On 31 Mar 1869 when Scott was 30, he married Burnetta SPRINGER, daughter of Thomas SPRINGER (1826-1849) & Zelpha Ann GULLEDGE (1829-1910), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in May 1847 in Tennessee. At the age of 58, Burnetta died in 1906. Buried in 1906 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Laura F.. Born on 3 Dec 1870 in Tennessee.

iv. Ruth F.. Born in Sep 1880. At the age of 88, Ruth F. died in 1969. Buried in 1969 in Roans Creek Church Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

99 v. Thomas Scott (1883-1943)
vi. Edna M.. Born in 1888. At the age of 90, Edna M. died in 1978. Buried in 1978 in Roans Creek Church Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.


Scott Pinckley and Burnetta Springer were living with Scott's father, Thomas Wood Pinckley, in the 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee, in 1870.

42. Marcellus PINCKLEY. Born on 23 Mar 1842 in Mississippi. At the age of 57, Marcellus died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 7 Jul 1899. Buried in 1899 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in House # 1627, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

Military: Marcellus PINCKLEY served in Company G, 2nd Tennessee Mounted Infantry (US), during the American Civil War.

On 10 Oct 1874 when Marcellus was 32, he married Mary E. FOWLER. Born on 31 Jul 1854 in Arkansas. At the age of 70, Mary E. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 30 Mar 1925. Buried in 1925 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 1, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1920.

They had the following children:
