Obituary: Aaron Vinson Robertson, 80, of McKenzie, died Friday, August 14, at NHC Health Care Center in Milan. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Carr officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Robertson, the son of the late Eddie Madison Robertson and Eva Azbill Robertson, was born on August 12, 1925, in Yuma. He was a retired manager of VFW Post 4939, where he was a member, a farmer, and a member of the American Legion Post 166. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arleen G. Robertson, who died on August 1. He is survived by two sons, Keith (Lori) Robertson of McKenzie and Larry (Tina) Robertson of Murfreesboro; a brother, William (Ruth) Robertson of McKenzie; a sister, Jessie Cude of Humboldt; and four grandchildren, Brandie Tenpenney, Brittney Robertson, Lesley Robertson and Luke Robertson.
Aaron Vinson married Arlene GREEN, daughter of Charles Raymond GREEN & Gracie BISHOP. Born on 30 Jan 1932 in Paris, Henry County, Tennessee. At the age of 73, Arlene died in McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee on 1 Aug 2005. Buried on 4 Aug 2005 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee.
Obituary: Funeral services for Arleen Green Robertson, 73, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2005 at Brummitt Funeral Home, McKenzie, TN with Rev. Kenny Carr officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Mrs. Robertson, a factory worker, died Monday, August 1, 2005 at McKenzie Health Care Center, McKenzie, TN. She was born January 30, 1932, in Paris, TN, the daughter of the late Charles Raymond Green and Gracie Bishop Green. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Robertson of McKenzie, TN; sons, Larry (Tina) Robertson of Murfreesboro, TN and Keith (Lori) Robertson of McKenzie, TN; brother, Richard (Jean) Green of Cahokia, IL and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 4, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
