Born on 6 Jan 1921 in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, Jerry Hubert died in Huntsville, Alabama on 21 Jul 2001. Buried in Jul 2001 in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. Obituary: Funeral services for Mr. Jerry H. Williams are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2001 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Mr. Williams, a World War II Army veteran and contracting officer for 39 years of service with the U.S. Government, died early Sunday morning, July 21, 2001, at this home in Huntsville, Alabama. He was born January 6, 1921 in Jackson to the late Jerry and Nona Green Williams. In 1945 he married the late Mary A. Peterson of Lexington, who preceded him in death eleven years ago. He was a good husband, father and friend to all who knew him. Survivors include two sons: Tim P. Williams of Madison, AL., and Jerry Michael [Mike] Williams of Huntsville, AL.; one daughter, Betty W. Yant of Ardmore, TN.; two brothers, Joe B. Williams of Peru, IN. and Jimmy D. Williams of Jackson, TN.; six grandchildren: Timmy P. Williams, Jr., David W. Williams, Brandi Williams, Brandi Williams, Kimberly Neighbors, Lisa Yant Carrillo and Teri Yant Brymer and eight great-grandchildren. They had the following children:
