169. Martha HODGE. Born on 18 Jan 1933. At the age of 69, Martha died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 16 Nov 2002. Buried on 18 Nov 2002 in Farmville Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Mrs. Martha Hodge Douglas, 69, died on Saturday, November 16 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18 in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Jerry Dodd, Jerry Roach and Robert Simmons officiating. Interment followed in the Farmville Cemetery. Mrs. Douglas was born on January 18, 1933 to the late Walter Laws and Joann Waugh Hodge. Her husband, Leonard James Douglas, one sister, Margaret Seaton and one brother, Howard Dwayne Hodge all preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Pickett of McKenzie; two sons, Gary Dodd of Springfield, Illinois and Samuel Dodd of Clarksburg; two stepsons, Michael Douglas of West Chicago, Illinois and Lenny Douglas of Springfield, Illinois; four sisters, Hazel Pefhel of Payne Springs, Texas, Iris Ellington of McKenzie, Janie Cobb of Hollow Rock and Barbara Road of Camden; four brothers, Huey Hodge of Bruceton, Wayne Hodge of Bruceton, Tyler Hodge of Xenia, Ohio and Ivan Hodge of Humboldt; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.


Martha first married ? DODD.

They had the following children:
i. Linda. Resided in McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee in Nov 2002.

Linda married ? PICKETT.

ii. Gary. Resided in Springfield, Illinois in Nov 2002.

iii. Samuel. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in Nov 2002.


Martha second married Leonard James DOUGLAS.

They had the following children:
i. Michael (Step Child of Wife). Resided in West Chicago, Illinois in Nov 2002.

ii. Lenny (Step Child of Wife). Resided in Springfield, Illinois in Nov 2002.


170. Iris O. HODGE. Resided in McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee in Nov 2002.

Iris O. married Charles ELLINGTON.

They had one child:
i. Wiley Todd.


171. Janie HODGE. Resided in Hollow Rock, Carroll County, Tennessee in Nov 2002.

Janie married Leroy COBB, son of James Oscar COBB & Ella Wease WEBB. Born on 23 May 1939 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 64, Leroy died in Hollow Rock, Carroll County, Tennessee on 2 Aug 2003. Buried on 4 Aug 2003 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Mr. Leroy Cobb, 64, died on Saturday, August 2 at his home. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Rufus Chandler and Robert Simmons officiating. Interment followed in the New Hope Cemetery near Yuma. Mr. Cobb, the son of the late James Oscar and Ella Wease Webb Cobb, was born May 23, 1939 in Carroll County. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Darce Lee Cobb and a sister, Lavern Bennett. He was a retired mechanic for Henry I. Siegel. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Mrs. Janie Hodge Cobb; one son, Chris Cobb of Paris; three brothers, Jackie Cobb of Hollow Rock; Noel Cobb of Huntingdon and Eugene Cobb of Madison Heights, Michigan; and one sister, Judy Hopper of Hollow Rock.


They had one child:
i. Chris. Resided in Paris, Henry County, Tennessee in Aug 2003.
