Resided in Cedar Grove, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2000. James Edwin retired from Internal Revenue Service. They were divorced. James served in the Army during World War II. He received two purple hearts and six bronze medals. He was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service and was a deacon at the County Line Baptist Church. He was also a former deacon of the Clarksburg Baptist Church. For several years, he ran an income tax preparation service at Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. He lived at Jumbo, located on the Clarksburg-Jackson Road (about six miles west of Clarksburg). Obituary: James E. Todd, 76, of Cedar Grove, died Tuesday, August 8, at his home after a lengthy illness of cancer. Services were held on Thursday, August 10, at the County Line Baptist Church. Rev. Randal Woods officiated. Burial followed in the Clarksburg Cemetery with military honors. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Todd, the son of the late Chalmer and Pansy Newbill Birch Todd, was born February 28, 1924, in Wildersville. He served in the Army during World War II, where he received two purple hearts and six bronze medals. He was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service and was a deacon at County Line Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Linda Brawner and Donna Linton, both of Memphis; a son, James Rodney Todd of Cedar Grove; a step-daughter, Tamara Bush of Jackson; a stepson, Thomas Cook of Memphis; a sister, Martha Gooch of Yuma; two brothers, Joe Todd of Jackson and Landon Taylor of East Tennessee; six grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. They had the following children:
150. Raymelle WAUGH. Raymelle first married Loron Ezell CARY, son of Siney CARY (1890-1963) & Angie HORN (1890-1923). Born on 12 Apr 1916. At the age of 74, Loron Ezell died on 10 Jan 1991. Buried in Jan 1991 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Budge". Loron Ezell Cary served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Raymelle second married Will NOLES.
