146. Katie Arnell WAUGH. Born on 16 Oct 1912. At the age of 78, Katie Arnell died on 29 Mar 1991. Buried in Mar 1991 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Katie Arnell married James Dee WEATHERFORD, son of John Franklin WEATHERFORD & Lucy Edna PATTERSON. Born on 13 Nov 1914. At the age of 85, James Dee died on 31 Oct 2000. Buried in Nov 2000 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Sawmill worker. Alias/AKA: "Dee".

Obituary: Services for James Dee Weatherford are today, Wednesday, November 1, 2 p.m. at Pafford Funeral Home with burial in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma. Mr. Weatherford, who was 85, died Tuesday, October 31, at Lexington Methodist Hospital of a stroke. He was a sawmill employee. He leaves two daughters, Louise Scates of Lexington and Diane Wood of Wildersville; a son, James Merle Weatherford of Wildersville; a sister, Alma Stack of Springfied, Tn., a brother, Alton Weatherford of Clarksburg; a special friend, Alene Lassiter, 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

They had the following children:
i. Louise.

iii. James Merle.


147. William Leonard WAUGH. Born on 14 Apr 1919. At the age of 82, William Leonard died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 24 May 2001. Buried in May 2001 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for William Leonard Waugh were Saturday, May 26 at Dilday Funeral Home with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Yuma. Mr. Waugh, who was 82, died Thursday, May 24, at Methodist Hospital of Lexington. He was formerly of Yuma. He was a WW II Army Veteran. He leaves two sons, David Waugh of Jackson and Ronnie Waugh of Montgomery, Ala; a daughter, Carolyn Duke of Lexington; a brother, Earl Waugh of Knoxville; two sisters, Marie Todd of Clarksburg and Myrtle Roehig of Germantown, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

On 12 Jul 1945 when William Leonard was 26, he first married Clara MARTIN. Born on 12 Mar 1924. At the age of 70, Clara died on 10 Oct 1994. Buried in Oct 1994 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Carolyn. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 2001.

Carolyn first married James Sidney BARTHOLOMEW, son of John Maxwell BARTHOLOMEW (1920-) & Raymell RICHARDSON. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2000. They were divorced.

No children were produced from this marriage.

Carolyn second married ? DUKE.

ii. Ronnie. Resided in Montgomery, Alabama in 2001.

iii. David. Born in 1957. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in 2001.


William Leonard second married Ruthie MATHIS, daughter of Urie Lee MATHIS (1897-1957) & Ollie Bertha HICKS (1897-1981). Born on 6 Nov 1921. Alias/AKA: "Ruth".

148. Annie Marie WAUGH. Born on 13 Feb 1925. Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2001.

Annie Marie married Clem Edward TODD, son of Clem Gray TODD (1897-1957) & Ruby BURCH (1898-1967). Born on 23 Nov 1922. Resided in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in Apr 2001. Alias/AKA: "Ed".

They had the following children:

149. Myrtle Helen WAUGH. Born on 2 Sep 1937. At the age of 43, Myrtle Helen died on 26 Apr 1981. Buried in 1981 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Myrtle Helen married James Edwin TODD, son of Joe Chalmer TODD Senior (1903-1937) & Panzy Newil BURCH (1907-1998). Born on 28 Feb 1924 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 76, James Edwin died in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee on 8 Aug 2000. Buried in Aug 2000 in Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Cedar Grove, Carroll County, Tennessee in 2000. James Edwin retired from Internal Revenue Service. They were divorced.

James served in the Army during World War II. He received two purple hearts and six bronze medals. He was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service and was a deacon at the County Line Baptist Church. He was also a former deacon of the Clarksburg Baptist Church. For several years, he ran an income tax preparation service at Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. He lived at Jumbo, located on the Clarksburg-Jackson Road (about six miles west of Clarksburg).

Obituary: James E. Todd, 76, of Cedar Grove, died Tuesday, August 8, at his home after a lengthy illness of cancer. Services were held on Thursday, August 10, at the County Line Baptist Church. Rev. Randal Woods officiated. Burial followed in the Clarksburg Cemetery with military honors. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Todd, the son of the late Chalmer and Pansy Newbill Birch Todd, was born February 28, 1924, in Wildersville. He served in the Army during World War II, where he received two purple hearts and six bronze medals. He was a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service and was a deacon at County Line Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Linda Brawner and Donna Linton, both of Memphis; a son, James Rodney Todd of Cedar Grove; a step-daughter, Tamara Bush of Jackson; a stepson, Thomas Cook of Memphis; a sister, Martha Gooch of Yuma; two brothers, Joe Todd of Jackson and Landon Taylor of East Tennessee; six grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

They had the following children:
i. James Rodney. Born on 21 Nov 1946 in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Cedar Grove, Carroll County, Tennessee in Aug 2000.

ii. Donna Gay. Born on 26 Mar 1949. Resided in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee in Aug 2000.

Donna Gay married Unknown LINTON.

iii. Linda Gail. Born on 17 Feb 1959 in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. Resided in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee in Aug 2000.

Linda Gail married Unknown BRAWNER.


150. Raymelle WAUGH.

Raymelle first married Loron Ezell CARY, son of Siney CARY (1890-1963) & Angie HORN (1890-1923). Born on 12 Apr 1916. At the age of 74, Loron Ezell died on 10 Jan 1991. Buried in Jan 1991 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Budge".

Loron Ezell Cary served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Raymelle second married Will NOLES.

They had one child:
i. Darrell.


Raymelle third married Arthur HAAG.
