138. Mary Aline SEGRAVES. Born on 27 Dec 1924. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in May 2003.

Mary Aline married James Arnold PENDERGRASS, son of Charles Miller PENDERGRASS (1886-1965) & Eddie Lucille MONTGOMERY (1900-1991). Born on 27 Oct 1921 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, James Arnold died in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee on 28 Jun 2002. Buried on 30 Jun 2002 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in Aug 1965. Occupation: Served as the Fire Chief for the town of Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Mutt".

Obituary: Services are 2:00 p.m. Today at Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Pendergrass died Friday. Survivors are wife, Aileen Pendergrass; daughters, Rita Kay Orr & Pam Elizabeth Davis; sisters, Flossie Meals, Lois Baumgardner & Ollita Kelly; & brother, L.R. Pendergrass.

Obituary: James Arnold “Mutt” Pendergrass, 80, of Huntingdon, died Friday, June 28, at Life Care Center in Bruceton. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30, in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Doug Sellers officiated. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Bobby Hollowell, Bobby Brewer, Michael Allen, Doug Pruett, Mike Murphy, Harry Baker, Randy Crossett and Steve Price. Mr. Pendergrass, the son of the late Charlie M. and Eddie L. Montgomery Pendergrass, was born on October 27, 1921. He was a retired fire chief for the Town of Huntingdon, a member of the Tennessee National Guard, and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Wayne Pendergrass; and a half-brother, John Merry Pendergrass. He is survived by his wife, Aileen Pendergrass; two daughters, Rita Kay Orr and Pam Elizabeth Davis, both of Lexington; three sisters, Flossie Meals, Lois Baumgardner and Ollita Kelly, all of Cedar Grove; a brother, L.R. Pendergrass of Huntingdon; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.



They had the following children:

139. Maxine SEGRAVES. Born on 23 Dec 1926. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in May 2003.

Maxine married Melvin Ellsworth GURLEY, son of Luther Vincent GURLEY (1894-1979) & Mamie Lois MEALS (1902-). Born on 23 Sep 1923. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in May 2003.

They had the following children:
312 i. Gregor Mendol (1947-)
ii. Mark Anthony. Born on 26 Jun 1962 in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in May 2003.


140. William Everett SEGRAVES. Born on 18 Aug 1931. Alias/AKA: "Billy".

Aound 1956 when William Everett was 24, he first married Ann MORGAN. Born on 2 Mar 1938.

They had the following children:
i. Darrell Lynn. Born on 16 Jul 1957.

ii. Charlie Lynn. Born on 16 Feb 1958.

313 iii. James Melvin (1961-)

Around 1970 when William Everett was 38, he second married Mary DAVIS.

William Everett third married Jo Ann TROUT.
