72. Effie M. WAUGH. Born on 4 Sep 1900 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 39, Effie M. died on 13 Aug 1940. Buried in Aug 1940 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 4 Dec 1921 when Effie M. was 21, she married Charlie B. SPAIN, son of Ed F. SPAIN (1859-1927) & Mary C. SELLERS (1866-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 22 May 1896. At the age of 75, Charlie B. died in Flint, Genessee County, Michigan on 29 Mar 1972. Buried in Mar 1972 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Alene.

ii. Edward.

iii. Charles Homer. Alias/AKA: "Charlie".

iv. Bobby.

v. Catherine.


73. Lee Roy WAUGH. Born on 12 Jan 1903 in Tennessee. At the age of 49, Lee Roy died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 7 Dec 1952. Buried in Dec 1952 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Roy".

On 31 Aug 1924 when Lee Roy was 21, he married Lessie TODD, daughter of George Ector TODD (1879-1953) & Sarah A. ELLIS (1887-1938), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 19 Mar 1908.

They had the following children:

74. Pearl Pheribee WAUGH. Born in Apr 1909 in Henderson County, Tennessee. Pearl Pheribee died in California.

Pearl Pheribee married Harvey SHAMBLIN.

They had the following children:
i. Juanita.

ii. Edna Lee.


75. William Troy WAUGH. Born on 5 Sep 1913. At the age of 64, William Troy died in Rockwood, Roane County, Tennessee on 31 May 1978. Buried in Jun 1978 in Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood, Roane County, Tennessee.

William Troy married Anna Mae WHITECOTTON.

They had the following children:

Alice Carol married Jim MOORE.


76. Lela Alma WAUGH. Born on 25 Dec 1915. Resided in Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jun 2003.

On 3 Aug 1935 when Lela Alma was 19, she married Ezra Lewis BELEW, son of Arthur BELEW (1883-1943) & Susie PINCKLEY (1887-1967). Born on 2 Sep 1918. At the age of 77, Ezra Lewis died on 19 Sep 1995. Buried in Sep 1995 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Clarksburg, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

Ann married J.W. NOLES, son of NOLES.

iv. Deborah.

Deborah married Johnny NEWMAN.


77. Warner Louie WAUGH. Born in 1922 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, Warner Louie died in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee on 29 Apr 2002. Buried on 2 May 2002 in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East, Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Warner Louie Waugh, 80, of East Brainerd, died Monday, April 29. A resident of Chattanooga for the past 55 years, he was retired from Sears after 32 years of service. Mr. Waugh was a member of the East Brainerd Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his son, Lance Corporal Ronald L. Waugh. He is survived by his wife, Irene Waugh; a sister, Alma Belew of Clarksburg; a niece, Kimberly Clingan of Chattanooga; and several other nieces and nephews. Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 2, in the chapel of with Bro. John Cupp, Bro. Glen Gray and Rev. Mike McGinnis officiating. Burial followed in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, East, with Rev. Ray Walker officiating. His nephews served as pallbearers and Sears Retirees served as honorary pallbearers. Arrangements were made by Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.

In 1942 when Warner Louie was 20, he married Sella Irene REED, daughter of Joe Cephus REED (1889-1959) & Eular RUMMAGE (1889-1983), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee in Jul 2002.

They had one child:
i. Ronald Louie. Ronald Louie died in Cam Lo, Vietnam on 25 Feb 1969. Buried in Lakewood Memory Gardens, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Military: Ronald L. Waugh was a Lance Corporal in the U.S.M.C. who was killed in action during the Vietnam War.


Ronald Louie married Alma Kay FORSTNER.
