449. Clyde Robert BRANDON. Born on 10 Jan 1903 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, Clyde Robert died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 11 Nov 1973. Buried in 1973 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Clyde Brandon was a charter member of the Clarksburg Ruritan Club.

On 14 Oct 1923 when Clyde Robert was 20, he married Iva PHILLIPS, daughter of William Samuel PHILLIPS & Sarah Ellen JOYNER. Born on 16 Jul 1907 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 91, Iva died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 18 Dec 1998. Buried in Dec 1998 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Occupation: Homemaker. Religion: Concord Baptist Church, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Iva E. Brandon, 91, Westport, died Wednesday, December 16, 1998, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Services were held on Friday, December 18, at Dilday Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Sellers Hill Cemetery. Reverend Rufus Chandler officiated. Mrs. Brandon, the daughter of the late William Samuel and Sarah Ellen Joyner Phillips, was born July 16, 1907, in Carroll County. She was the widow of Clyde Robert Brandon, who died in 1973, a member of the Concord Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. She is survived by four sons, Robert W. Brandon of Nashville, Wiburn Ray Brandon and Gerald Brandon, both of Huntingdon, and Billy Brandon of Westport; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

ii. Wilburn Ray. Born on 7 May 1929. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 3 Dec 1953 when Wilburn Ray was 24, he married Bobbie Jean HARRIS, daughter of Earnie HARRIS & Bertha U. ROBINSON (1899-2003).

iv. Billy Fay. Born on 16 May 1933. Resided in Westport, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Billy Fay married Azlee PATE, daughter of Tom PATE (1884-1968) & Eva Harriett MOORE (1898-1969). Born on 24 Dec 1940.

450. Lora Martha BRANDON. Born on 20 Sep 1906. At the age of 90, Lora Martha died on 22 Dec 1996.

Lora Martha married Claude Marshall DAVIS. Born in 1905. At the age of 80, Claude Marshall died on 25 Jan 1985.

They had the following children:
i. James Earl. Born in 1929 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 23, James Earl died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 8 May 1952.

451. Ollie Blanche BRANDON. Born on 30 Jan 1909. At the age of 84, Ollie Blanche died on 17 Mar 1993.

Ollie Blanche married Cecil KIRBY, son of Henry T. KIRBY (1872-) & Neoma A JOHNSON (1876-). Born in 1908 in Tennessee. At the age of 84, Cecil died on 8 Mar 1992.

They had the following children:

Larry married Rebecca MONTGOMERY, daughter of Connie Lee MONTGOMERY (-1987) & Bennie Louise ANDERSON (1915-2000). Born in 1952. Alias/AKA: "Becky".

452. Ella Vonelle BRANDON. Born on 24 Jul 1911 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 92, Ella Vonelle died in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee on 17 Dec 2003. Buried on 20 Dec 2003 in Davis Chapel Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Mrs. Ella Vonnell Davis, 92, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 20, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Dilday Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Davis Chapel Cemetery. Brother Wayne Holmes will officiate the services. Mrs. Davis was born July 24, 1911 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Sherman and Louetta Jamison Brandon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Davis, who passed away on July 28, 2001, and two grandsons, Kent Davis and John Davis. She is survived by three sons, Clayton (Bonnie) Davis of Shalimar, FL, Rayburn (Lorene) Davis of Huntingdon, TN and Kenneth (Patricia) Davis of Huntingdon, TN. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, Charles Davis of Jackson, TN, Mary Ann Lawrence of Nashville, TN, Tammy Simpson and Kim Huss both of Huntingdon, Tennessee, and 5 great grandchildren, Melissa Hill of Nashville, TN, Trista Simpson, Matt Simpson, Brandon Huss and Brett Huss, all of Huntingdon, TN. The family will receive friends today after 4:00 p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home West Visitation Room and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

Ella Vonelle married Kenneth Willie DAVIS Senior, son of John Marshall DAVIS & Willie Bell YATES. Born on 16 Sep 1908. At the age of 92, Kenneth Willie died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 28 Jul 2001. Buried on 30 Jul 2001 in Davis Chapel Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Kenneth Willie Davis, Sr., 92, of Huntingdon, died Saturday, July 28, at his residence. Services were held on Monday, July 30, in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Wayne Holmes officiated. Burial followed in the Davis Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Charles Davis, Johnny Lawrence, David Huss, Ricky Simpson, Glenn Morgan, and Elbert Ray Vestal. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Lewis, Mickey Lewis, Mark Lewis, Steve Bunn, and the Huntingdon Circuit Methodist Men's Group. Mr. Davis, the son of the late John Marshall Davis and Willie Bell Yates Davis, was born September 16, 1908. He was a retired farmer, a member of WOW, and a member of the Davis Chapel Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Vonnell Brandon Davis; three sons, William Clayton Davis of Shalimar, Florida, and Rayburn Davis and Kenneth Davis, Jr., both of Huntingdon, four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

iii. William Clayton. Resided in Shalimar, Florida in Jul 2001. Resided in Shalimar, Florida in Dec 2003.
