293. Carl Kelly ROSS. Born on 14 Jan 1930.

In 1949 when Carl Kelly was 18, he married Luthera Eloise RUSHING, daughter of Luther RUSHING (1907-1994) & Floy Lucinda LAWS (1909-2001). Born on 28 Dec 1929. Resided in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in Dec 2001.

They had the following children:

iii. Janet. Born on 10 May 1962.

294. Guy Vernon ROSS.

Guy Vernon married Marjorie Faye WALKER, daughter of Ed Timberlake WALKER (1910-1992) & Joella PRITCHARD (1913-1989). Born on 30 Sep 1934 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 67, Marjorie Faye died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 6 Feb 2002. Buried on 9 Feb 2002 in Carroll County Memorial Gardens, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2002 at Dilday Funeral Home with burial in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Ms. Ross, a Homemaker, died Wednesday at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. Survivors: daughter, Pamela Ann Kirk of Yuma, TN; sister, Imogene Hill of Greenville, TX; brother, Robert Harlon Walker of Yuma, TN

Obituary: Marjorie Faye Walker Ross, 67, of Yuma, died Wednesday, February 6, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services were held on Saturday, February 9, at the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Clayton Davis and Bro. Randal Woods officiated. Burial followed at Carroll Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers who served were Shannon Carden, Alan Cobb, Ken Rush, Jimmy Fronabarger, Josh Fronabarger, Nich Cobb, Anthony Walker and Carl Cantrell. Honorary pallbearers were Deron Hodge and Brent Fronabarger. Mrs. Ross, the daughter of the late Edd Timberlake “Jim Walker” and Joella Pritchard Walker, was born September 30, 1934, in Carroll County. She was a homemaker and a member of the County Line Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Vernon Ross, who died January 1984; a sister, Jo Priestly Fronabarger; and two brothers, James Gregory (Buddy) Walker and Joe Watson (Joe Boy) Walker (who died the same day). She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Ann Ross Kirk of Yuma; a sister, Imogene Hill of Greenville, Texas; a brother, Robert Harlon Walker of Yuma; two grandchildren, Jason Wayne Kirk of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, who graduated from Stetson University in Deland, Florida in 2001, and Kelli Ann Kirk of Ocala, Florida, who graduated from high school in 2001 and is attending Central Florida Community College.

They had one child:

295. Retha ROSS.

Retha married Mack Eugene EDWARDS, son of Malcolm EDWARDS (1906-1980) & Euba GOOCH (1909-1989). Born in 1932. At the age of 71, Mack Eugene died in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee on 20 Feb 2003. Buried in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Resided in Nashville, Tennessee in 1999.

Obituary: Passed away February 20, 2003 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Retha Edwards of Nashville; sons, Mike (Mayree) Edwards of Old Hickory and Mark (Tammy) Edwards of Franklin; grandchildren, Kevin Edwards, Kristyn Edwards, Ross Edwards, and Claire Edwards; sisters, Betty Rodgers and Susan Samara, both of Bruceton, TN; brothers, Sammy Edwards and Bobby Ray "Buddy" Edwards, both of Yuma, TN. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2003 with Bro. Randall Jones and Bro. Carl Ross officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike at Davidson Dr.
