Obituary: Funeral services for Jeremy Shawne Ellis, 24, will be Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Ellis, a car salesman, died Sunday, January 26, 2003 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Survivors are his mother, Jennifer Oakley of Lake Cormorant, MS; step-father, Eddie Oakley of Lake Cormorant, MS; father, Jimmy Ellis of Huntingdon, TN; Fiancee, Marsha Briggs of Cordova, TN; daughter, Alli Ellis of Bruceton, TN; paternal grandmother, Fay Ellis of Huntingdon, TN and maternal grandmother, Joan Bolen of Clarksburg, TN and two brothers, Chris Lewis and Marcus Lewis both of Huntingdon, TN. Obituary: Mr. Jeremy Shawne Ellis, 24, formerly of Huntingdon, died Sunday, January 26 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 29 at 1:00 p.m. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Kenneth Stapleton officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Ellis was born on February 11, 1978 in Madison County. He was a car salesman for World Rental Car Sales. He graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1996 and served four years with the United States Marine Corps. His paternal grandfather, Tyler Ellis and his maternal grandfather, William Bolen both preceded him in death. Survivors include his father, Jimmy Ellis of Huntingdon; his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Eddie Oakley of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, his fiancé, Marsha Briggs of Cordova; one daughter, Alli Ellis of Bruceton, his paternal grandmother Fay Ellis of Huntingdon and maternal grandmother, Joan Bolen of Clarksburg; and two brothers, Chris Lewis and Marcus Lewis, both of Huntingdon.
