143. Leon GOOCH. Born in 1906. At the age of 76, Leon died in 1982. Buried in 1982 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Leon".

On 26 Dec 1923 when Leon was 17, he married Burline BOLEN, daughter of James Denver BOLEN (1883-1953) & Mittie Thomas HOLLOWELL (1888-1961), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 10 Aug 1906. At the age of 85, Burline died on 26 Sep 1991. Buried in Sep 1991 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Grover Bolen. Resided in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee in Jun 2002. Alias/AKA: "Bo".

144. Leonard G. GOOCH. Born in 1908. At the age of 47, Leonard G. died in 1955. Buried in 1955 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Leonard G. married Mary Nelle WOOD, daughter of Albert Braxton WOOD Senior (1880-1960) & Willie M. WOODS (1882-1969). Born on 4 Apr 1911 in Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee. At the age of 76, Mary Nelle died in 1988. Buried in 1988 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

145. Lottie V. GOOCH. Born on 7 Oct 1914 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 77, Lottie V. died in 1992. Buried in 1992 in Farmville Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 6 Apr 1929 when Lottie V. was 14, she married Onnie Graden TODD, son of George Ector TODD (1879-1953) & Sarah Ann ELLIS (1887-1938), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1911. At the age of 55, Onnie Graden died in 1966. Buried in 1966 in Farmville Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

146. Ruby GOOCH. Born in 1917. Resided in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee in Apr 2004.

Ruby married Guy HESTER, son of Edmund HESTER (1872-1940) & Lessie CUNNINGHAM (1885-1962). Born on 13 Jan 1909. At the age of 45, Guy died on 27 Oct 1954. Buried in Oct 1954 in Farmville Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930.

147. Mary Sue GOOCH. Born on 10 Sep 1920 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, Mary Sue died in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee on 21 Apr 2002. Buried on 23 Apr 2002 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Mary Sue Todd, 81, of Westport, died Sunday, April 21, at the Methodist Hospital in Lexington. Services were held on Tuesday, April 23, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Elder Rufus Chandler officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Brian Holt, Shannon Shands, Burt Hatch, Robert Gooch, Grover (Bo) Gooch and Ronald Gooch. Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Todd, the daughter of the late Grover C. and Mary Pearl Lyons Gooch, was born September 10, 1920, in Carroll County. She was an employee of Pin Oak Lodge and a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Todd, who died March 15, 1997; a sister, Lottie Todd; and three brothers, Mack Gooch, Leonard Gooch and Leon Gooch. She is survived by three daughters, Sally Hatch of Collierville, Glenda Tucker of Yuma and Charlotte Shands of Westport; a sister, Rubye Hester of Yuma; and five grandchildren, Brian Holt, Shannon Shands, Amanda Hatch, Burton Hatch and Glenna Tucker.



Mary Sue married Charles Edwin TODD, son of Turner Hulon TODD Senior (1898-1973) & Mary Elizabeth WAUGH (1901-1985). Born on 28 May 1923. At the age of 73, Charles Edwin died on 15 Mar 1997. Buried in Mar 1997 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 14th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. Alias/AKA: "Ed".

Served in the U.S. Army in World War II as a Private First Class.

They had the following children:
