Obituary: Services for James Samuel Webb, 69, of Wildersville, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 5, at Wildersville Baptist Church. Burial followed in Hare Cemetery. Mr. Webb, a disabled construction worker, died Wednesday, March 3, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Webb of Wildersville; a daughter, Deborah Perry of Clarksburg; and three sons, Rick Webb, Terry Webb, and Tony Webb, all of Wildersville. On 14 Feb 1955 when James Samuel was 25, he married Ruth Helen PIRTLE, daughter of John Thomas PIRTLE (1908-1972) & Dora MIDDLETON (1908-1980), in Corinth, Mississippi. Born on 3 May 1938 in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 62, Ruth Helen died in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee on 13 Sep 2000. Buried on 15 Sep 2000 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Obituary: Services for Mrs. Ruth Helen Webb were Friday, September 15 at Pafford Funeral Home with burial in Hare Cemetery. Mrs. Webb, who was 62, died Wednesday, September 13, at her home in Wildersville, of cancer. She was a housewife. She leaves a daughter, Deborah Perry of Clarksburg; three sons, Ricky Webb, Terry Webb, Tony Webb, all of Wildersville; three sisters, Tommie Austin, Betty Conrad, and Wilma Woods, all of Lexington; two brothers, Howell Pirtle of Darden and William Pirtle of Decaturville, seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
