Gaylon L. married Mary Sue GOOCH, daughter of Benjamin Rufus GOOCH Senior (1890-) & Tessie Mae HAMPTON (1897-). Born in 1923 in Tennessee. Resided in 24th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930.

They had the following children:
