91. Jessie Arnell TATE. Born on 20 Nov 1913 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, Jessie Arnell died on 4 Aug 2001. Buried on 6 Aug 2001 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Arnell".

Obituary: Jessie "Arnell" Bateman, 87, of Trezevant, died Saturday night, Aguust 4, at Oak Manor Healthcare Center. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 6, at First Baptist Church in Trezevant. Bro. Malcom Norton officiated. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Bateman, the daughter of the Jesse Tate and Ebie Rush Tate, was born November 20, 1913, in Wildersville. She was a retired owner of Bateman Store in Trezevant. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.H. Bateman; and a daughter, Rubye Bateman Fuller. She is survived by a daughter, Martha Bateman Hopper of Nashville; four sons, Dwayne Bateman, Lloyd Bateman and Clyde Bateman, all of Trezevant, and Gordon Bateman of Collierville; two sisters, Evelyn Fesmire of Trezevant and Pattie Sue Scott of Lexington; three brothers, John M. Tate of Lexington, and Joe Tate and James Tate, both of Lexington; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Jessie Arnell married L.H. BATEMAN. Born on 18 Apr 1913. At the age of 60, L.H. died on 27 Jan 1974. Buried in Jan 1974 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee.

L.H. Bateman served the public as a barber, in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee.

92. Willie Hollis TATE. Born on 17 Feb 1918. At the age of 75, Willie Hollis died on 26 Aug 1993. Buried in Aug 1993 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Oct 2003.

94. James Eures TATE. Born on 15 Sep 1925.

On 23 Dec 1956 when James Eures was 31, he married Evon WALL, daughter of Henry WALL (1906-1970) & Valcour BURTON (1904-1972). Born on 1 Feb 1934 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee in Apr 2005.

Evelyn Raymelle TATE. Born on 27 Apr 1927 in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Evelyn Raymelle died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 20 Aug 2002. Buried on 23 Aug 2002 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee in Aug 2001.

Obituary: Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Survivors are husband, Leotha Fesmire; daughter, Janice Allen; grandchildren, Anita Allen Hamilton & Julie Allen Burke; great grandchild, Sullivan Thomas Burke; sister, Patty Scott & brothers John M. Tate, Joe Tate & James Tate.

Obituary: Evelyn Raymell Fesmire, 75, of Trezevant, died Tuesday night, August 20, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 23, at First Baptist Church in Trezevant. Bro. Malcolm Norton officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Fesmire, the daughter of the late Jessie Tate and Ebbie Rush Tate, was bomApril 27,1927, in Trezevant. She was retired from H.I.S. in Trezevant and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trezevant. She is survived by her husband, Leotha Fesmire; a daughter, Janice Allen of Milan; two grandchildren, Anita Alien Hamilton of Martin and Julie Alien Burke of Knoxville; a great-grandchild, Sullivan Thomas Burke of Knoxville; a sister, Patty Scott of Reagan; and three brothers, John M. Tate of Lexington, and Joe Tate and James Tate, both of Wildersville.


Evelyn Raymelle married Leothia FESMIRE, son of Elam FESMIRE (1894-1980) & Maggie PHILLIPS (1900-1972). Born in 1926. At the age of 78, Leothia died in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee on 23 Jan 2004. Resided in First District, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1930. Resided in Trezevant, Carroll County, Tennessee in Feb 2001.

Obituary: Services for Mr. Leotha Fesmire, 78, will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the Bodkin Funeral home in Milan. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Trezevant. Mr. Fesmire, a retired employee of the Milan Army Ammunition Plant, died Friday at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn T. Fesmire. Surviving are a daughter, Janice Allen of Milan; a brother, Odean Fesmire of Lexington; three sisters, Elsie Franklin, Lucille Hamilton and Perline Hamilton, all of Lexington, TN; two granddaughters, Anita Hamilton of Martin and Julie Burke of Knoxville; a great grandson, Sullivan Burke of Knoxville. The family will receive friends after 3:00 pm this afternoon at the funeral home. The family requests that memorials to be directed to a charity of the donors choice.

Mr. Fesmire, a retired employee of the Milan Army Ammunition Plant died Friday, January 23 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn T. Fesmire. He was a member of the Pleasant Green Masonic Lodge #291 and a member of the Knights Temple in Jackson. Survivors include a daughter, Janice Allen of Milan; a brother, Odean Fesmire of Lexington; three sisters, Elsie Franklin, Lucille Hamilton and Perline Hamilton, all of Lexington; two granddaughters, and a great-grandson. The family request that memorials be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.

96. Patti Sue TATE. Born on 15 Sep 1930. At the age of 72, Patti Sue died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 30 Nov 2002. Buried on 2 Dec 2002 in Farmville Cemetery, Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in Aug 2001.

Obituary: Services for Pattie Sue Scott, 72, will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2002 at Reed's Chapel. Burial will follow in Farmsville Cemetery. Mrs. Scott died Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Belew of Clarksburg, Donna Alexander of Lexington and Sherry Western of Parsons; two sons, Randall Scott of Parsons and Russell Scott of Lexington; three brothers, Joe Tate and James Tate of Wildersville and John Tate of Lexington; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara and Bonita Scott and her husband, Gerald Scott.


Patti Sue married Gerald Wayne SCOTT, son of Elgar Lee SCOTT (1906-1997) & A. Cornelia WALKER (1909-1965). Born on 4 Dec 1929 in Wildersville, Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, Gerald Wayne died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 4 Apr 1989. Buried in Apr 1989 in Farmville Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

97. Peggy Ruth TATE. Born on 16 Sep 1933 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 54, Peggy Ruth died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 18 Jun 1988. Buried in Jun 1988 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.
