On 12 Jun 1927 when Oscar Edward was 18, he married Addie Pearl COOPER, daughter of Ethan COOPER & Lela Gray TODD (1885-1960), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 31 Jul 1911 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 76, Addie Pearl died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 21 Jul 1988. 47. James Lawrence RUSH. Born on 27 May 1917 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, James Lawrence died in McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee on 2 Mar 1999. Buried in Mar 1999 in Unity Academy Cemetery, Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. Obituary: James Lawrence Rush, 81, of McKenzie, died Tuesday, March 2, at his home. Services were held on Thursday, March 4, at Dilday Funeral Home. Burial followed in Sellers Hill Cemetery. Brother Bill Goodpasture officiated the services. Mr. Rush, the son of the late Albert and Dona Mae Azbill Rush, was born May 27, 1917, in Henderson County. He was a retired employee of Bar Steele and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Sue LaRose, who died in 1991; and a son, James Ray Rush, who died in 1987; two sisters, Abbey Robertson and Marnie Horn; and two brothers, Oscar Edward Rush and Rayburn Rush. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Hattie Rush; a daughter, Kay Pushman of Woodhaven, Michigan; a son, Bill Rush of McKenzie; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers who served were Lindy McGuire, Lloyd Ross, Kenneth Ross, Jim Crockett, Jerry Morris and Ross Pendergrass. On 3 Dec 1934 when James Lawrence was 17, he first married Victoria Pearl KELLY, daughter of Martin Luther KELLEY (1887-1966) & Gertie JOHNSON. Born on 9 Mar 1915. At the age of 33, Victoria Pearl died on 23 Apr 1948. Buried in Apr 1948 in Hare Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in 14th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1930. They had the following children:
