12. Thomas J. ROSSER. Born on 3 Mar 1846 in Tennessee.

On 16 Jul 1868 when Thomas J. was 22, he married Martha Elizabeth PRITCHARD, daughter of Solomon D. PRITCHARD (1822-) & Jane ? (1830-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born about 1852.

They had the following children:
i. Susan J.. Born in 1869 in Tennessee.

ii. William S.. Born on 7 Mar 1872 in Henderson County, Tennessee. William S. died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 5 Dec 1872. Buried in 1872 in Pearson Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

iii. J. T.. Born about 1874.

iv. J. J.. Born about 1877.

v. D. F.. Born about 1879.


13. Mary Ann ROSSER. Born on 23 Mar 1848. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

On 25 Oct 1866 when Mary Ann was 18, she married Henry C. COX, son of Henry W. COX (1817-) & Martha Jane PRITCHARD (1824-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1846 in Mississippi. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

They had one child:
i. Martha J.. Born in 1868 in Tennessee.


14. John William ROSSER. Born on 26 Jul 1851 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 62, John William died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 20 Jan 1914. Buried in 1914 in Rosser Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Lived in the household of his mother, Nancy Parker Rosser, and his uncle Atlas Rosser during the 1870 Carroll county Census.

On 2 Nov 1876 when John William was 25, he married Nancy Catherine MORGAN, daughter of Jonathan Oliver MORGAN Junior (1836-1914) & Martha Paralee SHAVER (1836-1915), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 18 Oct 1856 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Nancy Catherine died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 19 Jul 1941. Buried in 1941 in Rosser Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. W . P.. W . P. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 21 Nov 1877. Born on 25 Aug 1877 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Buried in 1877 in Rosser Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

iii. William W.. Born on 23 Apr 1881 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 68, William W. died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 24 May 1949. Buried in 1949 in Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

On 19 Sep 1913 when William W. was 32, he married Rosetta CARNAL, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 17 Mar 1885. At the age of 67, Rosetta died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 27 Apr 1952. Buried in 1952 in Parkers Crossroads, Henderson County, Tennessee.

William Rosser and Rosetta Carnell had no children.

ix. James Norwood. Born on 25 Dec 1895 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 22, James Norwood died in France on 22 Oct 1918. Buried in 1918 in Rosser Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. James Norwood served in World War I.

Was engaged to marry Cecilia BAUMGARDNER.

Cause of Death: Pneumonia.


15. Susan Melvina ROSSER. Born on 13 Dec 1855 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 75, Susan Melvina died in Wilbarger County, Texas on 27 Dec 1930.

Lived in the household of her mother, Mary J. Parker Rosser, and uncle Atlas Rosser, during the 1870 Census.

On 20 Sep 1873 when Susan Melvina was 17, she married Miles Turner OLIVE, son of Howell OLIVE (1814-1888) & Ann LYON (1822-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 17 Sep 1851 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 48, Miles Turner died in New Boston, Bowie County, Texas on 5 Apr 1900.

They had the following children:
i. Mary Jo. Born on 30 Jul 1874.

ii. Tony Sam. Born on 11 Jan 1876.

iii. Martha Jane. Born on 11 Dec 1877.

iv. William H.. Born on 11 Jan 1880.

v. Claborn Oscar. Born on 11 Dec 1881.
