Family of Emerson Ulysses DILL (72) & Joann A. LAYCOOK

166. Nola DILL. Born in 1877. At the age of 51, Nola died in 1928.

In 1893 when Nola was 16, she first married James Matthew KELLY.

They had the following children:
i. Lois. Born in 1896. At the age of 63, Lois died in 1959.

ii. Erin Lela. Born in 1899. At the age of 78, Erin Lela died in 1977.

iii. Flossie Foster. Born in 1906.


Nola second married John W. FOSTER.

They had one child:
i. Flossie.


167. James Alfred DILL. Born in 1888 in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, James Alfred died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 14 Oct 1966. Buried in 1966 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Jim".

James Alfred married Mattie Flora McCASLIN. Born in 1892. At the age of 83, Mattie Flora died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 13 Aug 1975. Buried in 1975 in Palmer Shelter Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Nellie M.. Born in 1910.

ii. James A.. Born in 1916 in Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Jimmy".

iii. Lorene. Born in 1919 in Tennessee.

iv. Ray.


168. Cora Emma DILL. Born on 11 Jul 1894 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Cora Emma died in Boone County, Kentucky on 4 Jul 1979.

Cora Emma married Lee Elmer DILL (158) , son of William Green DILL (68) (1860-1952) & Tennessee Mollie SHERRILL (1859-1919). Born on 12 Dec 1897 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 68, Lee Elmer died in Benton County, Tennessee on 17 Nov 1966.

They had the following children:
i. Wayne.
