84. William Manley PENDERGRASS. Born on 29 Jan 1873. At the age of 85, William Manley died in 1959. Buried in 1959 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

William Manley married Frances E. WALL, daughter of Thomas Green WALL (1849-1930) & Martha CARRINGTON (1851-1880). Born in 1877 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, Frances E. died in Henderson County, Tennessee in 1962. Buried in 1962 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Homer Virgil. Born on 6 Aug 1898 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 23, Homer Virgil died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 18 Nov 1921. Buried in Nov 1921 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.

85. John Daniel PENDERGRASS. Born on 29 Nov 1874. At the age of 31, John Daniel died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 29 Nov 1905. Buried in 1905 in Palestine Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Cause of death: Pneumonia.

On 12 Jan 1899 when John Daniel was 24, he married Sophronia Elizabeth COFFMAN, daughter of William Louis Cass COFFMAN (1848-1912) & Mariah Jane TRACY (1857-1934), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 11 Dec 1876 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 85, Sophronia Elizabeth died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 7 Jul 1962. Buried in 1962 in Waller-Douglas Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Fronia".

Obituary: Obituary printed in Lexington Progress on Thursday, 12 July, 1962: Services for Mrs. Frona Coffman Utley were Sunday afternoon at the Bargerton Church of Christ with H.L. Bradfield of Memphis officiating. Burial was in the Waller-Douglas Cemetery with Pafford Funeral Home in Charge. Mrs. Utley, who was 85, died Sunday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Florence Miller of Juno. She was born and reared in Henderson County and was a member of the Juno Church of Christ.

86. Jerry Arthur PENDERGRASS. Born on 11 Nov 1889 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 95, Jerry Arthur died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 25 Jan 1985. Buried on 27 Jan 1985 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer and general mercantile.

Obituary: Services for Jerry Arthur Pendergrass, 95, of Lexington, were at 2 p m. Sunday, January 27, at Reed's Chapel with Charles Thomason and the Rev. Al Price officiating. Burial was in the Parker's Crossroads Cemetery. Mr. Pendergrass died Friday night, January 25, at the Methodist Hospital
of Lexington after a short illness. He was a retired merchant and farmer. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clara McKee of Cedar Grove, Mrs. Edna Peterson of Lexington and Dorothy Perry of Yuma; a son, Howell Pendergrass of Yuma; 25 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren.


On 29 Dec 1915 when Jerry Arthur was 26, he married Lu Ethel COFFMAN, daughter of William Louis Cass COFFMAN (1848-1912) & Mariah Jane TRACY (1857-1934), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 18 May 1892 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 77, Lu Ethel died in Henderson County, Tennessee on 7 Jun 1969. Buried in Jun 1969 in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee.
