James Caleb married Sarah SIMPSON. Born in 1876 in Tennessee. At the age of 87, Sarah died in 1963. Buried in 1963 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 24th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

They had the following children:

iv. Corene. Born on 17 Mar 1907.

On 29 Aug 1931 when Corene was 24, she married Raymond CARNAL, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 26 Jun 1913. At the age of 57, Raymond died on 1 Mar 1971. Buried in Mar 1971 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Frances Elizabeth ROARK. Born on 2 Sep 1878 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 63, Frances Elizabeth died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 24 Apr 1942. Buried in Apr 1942 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 24th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880. Alias/AKA: "Bettie".

On 21 Oct 1900 when Frances Elizabeth was 22, she married Henry Lafayette LAYCOOK, son of Josephus LAYCOOK (1851-1938) & Mary E. BENNETT (1848-). Born on 12 Apr 1876 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 48, Henry Lafayette died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1925. Buried in 1925 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

39. Thomas Dudley ROARK. Born on 20 Jun 1880 in Tennessee. At the age of 89, Thomas Dudley died on 4 Jul 1969.

On 13 Dec 1903 when Thomas Dudley was 23, he first married Florence S. ANDERSON, daughter of John Antney ANDERSON (1844-1928) & Bettie KING (1848-1902). Born on 16 May 1884. At the age of 52, Florence S. died in Jan 1937.

vii. Eulas. Born on 31 Aug 1924 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Eulas died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 14 Dec 2002. Buried on 16 Dec 2002 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Funeral Services for Mr. Eulas Roark will be conducted Monday at 11:00 AM at Chase Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hampton Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Estelle Roark, daughter, Sue Ellen Baucom, step-children, Linda Brinkley, Stanley Woods, Michael Woods, Randy Woods, sister, Polly Hall, 12 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great grandchildren, and 15 nieces and nephews.

Obituary: Mr. Eulas Roark, 78, died on Saturday, December 14 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, December 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Goodpasture officiating. Interment followed in the Hampton Cemetery. Mr. Roark was born August 31, 1924 in Carroll County to the late Dudley and Florence Anderson Roark. He was a retired custodian for Publix Shirt Corporation and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. His stepmother, Ola Roark; two stepsons, Larry Woods and Danny Woods; three brothers, Homer Roark, Raymond Roark and Horace Roark and two sisters, Jewel Adcox and Roberta Bates preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Estelle Roark; one daughter, Sue Ellen Baucom of Huntingdon; two stepdaughters, Linda Brinkley of Huntingdon and Debbie Baumgardner of Cedar Grove; three stepsons, Randy Woods of Camden, Stanley Woods and Michael Woods, both of Huntingdon; one sister, Polly Hall of Huntingdon; twelve step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren and fifteen nieces and nephews. Pallbearers who served were Randall Roark, Gary Hall, Kenny Rush, Ricky Miller, Arvin Morris and Dr. Camron Hall.

Thomas Dudley second married Ola BUTLER. Born in 1889. At the age of 99, Ola died in 1988. Buried in 1988 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

40. Lula ROARK. Born in 1885. At the age of 37, Lula died in 1922. Buried in 1922 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 24 Jan 1904 when Lula was 19, she married John ANDERSON, son of John Antney ANDERSON (1844-1928) & Bettie KING (1848-1902), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1882. At the age of 84, John died in 1966. Buried in 1966 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

Evela married Arthur RILEY.

iii. Otha.

iv. Denver.

41. Arthur Marion ROARK. Born in Feb 1887 in Tennessee. At the age of 74, Arthur Marion died in May 1961.

Arthur Marion married Ruby J. SPRINGER. Born in 1892 in Tennessee. At the age of 75, Ruby J. died in 1967.

They had the following children:

Inus married Ben HOLLADAY.

ii. Laymond.

iii. Eldon. Resided in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee in Feb 2004.

Eldon married Mae Henry SMITH, daughter of Murray E. SMITH Senior (1892-1959) & Fronnia WEAVER (1893-). Born in 1922 in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 82, Mae Henry died on 25 Feb 2004. Buried on 28 Feb 2004 in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Obituary: NASHVILLE: Mae Pendergrass Roark, 82, died Wednesday, February 25. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Pendergrass and was a member of the Crieve Hall Church of Christ. She was retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Safety. Survivors include her husband, Eldon Roark of Nashville; three daughters, Yvonne Norman, Linda Warbritton and Janet Rice; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lorene Oatsvall, Pauline Bennett and Ludell Walker, all of Huntingdon; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel with Dan Winkler officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice

42. Flora ROARK. Born on 18 Jun 1890. At the age of 85, Flora died on 23 Jan 1976. Buried in Jan 1976 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 17 Mar 1912 when Flora was 21, she first married Curtis BOBBITT. Born on 11 Mar 1891. At the age of 29, Curtis died on 29 Oct 1920. Buried in Oct 1920 in Hampton Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Delores.

Delores married Sam BYARS.

116 ii. Lucille (-1983)

On 26 May 1934 when Flora was 43, she second married Henry Milton BRANDON (35) , son of James Alexander BRANDON (17) (1852-1938) & Arizona Eveline PHILLIPS (1860-1896). Born in 1885. At the age of 77, Henry Milton died in 1962. Buried in 1962 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.
