4. Amos ROARK. Born on 7 Feb 1822 in Tennessee. At the age of 40, Amos died in White County, Arkansas on 28 May 1862. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

Amos Roark died in Civil War skirmish in White County, Arkansas
on May 28, 1862.

On 15 Mar 1842 when Amos was 20, he first married Nellie SCOTT, in Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 31 Jul 1845 when Amos was 23, he second married Matilda BRANDON, in Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 25 Sep 1849 when Amos was 27, he third married Louisa PARSON, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Lizzie".

They had the following children:

5. Sarah ROARK. Born on 8 Jul 1823 in Tennessee. At the age of 76, Sarah died aft 1900.

On 14 Dec 1850 when Sarah was 27, she married Barton W. BRANDON, son of Jonathan BRANDON (1798-1848) & Minerva ? (1803-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 10 Jun 1821 in Tennessee. At the age of 48, Barton W. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 21 Dec 1869. Buried in 1869 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

6. William Carroll ROARK. Born on 16 Jan 1825 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, William Carroll died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 14 Dec 1911. Buried in Dec 1911 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

On 15 Oct 1845 when William Carroll was 20, he married Harriett Elizabeth MALONE, daughter of Cornelius MALONE & Abigail TUCKER, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 10 Jan 1825 in Alabama. At the age of 96, Harriett Elizabeth died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 15 Apr 1921. Buried in Apr 1921 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

On 2 Jan 1877 when Martha Ellen was 20, she married Millard F. LEMMONS, son of Edward LEMMONS (1808-) & Eliza ? (1812-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born about 1851.

7. Elizabeth Jane ROARK. Born on 6 Jan 1827 in Tennessee. At the age of 61, Elizabeth Jane died on 23 Aug 1888.

On 14 Oct 1845 when Elizabeth Jane was 18, she first married Thomas S. GULLEDGE, son of Jeptha GULLEDGE (1801-1842) & Catherine SELLERS (1806-1855). Born on 30 Jun 1825. At the age of 24, Thomas S. died on 12 Sep 1849.

They had one child:

Durotha Isabelle (1848-1921)

On 13 Dec 1870 when Elizabeth Jane was 43, she second married Uriah SPRINGER, son of Dennis SPRINGER (1768-1842) & Margaret GOFORTH (1775-1851), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1805 in South Carolina. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

Uriah and Ruth Belew Springer lived in house 1424, District 13, Carroll County, Tennessee, during the 1850 Census.

Lived in Henderson County, Tennessee, in 1830.

8. Henry Marian ROARK. Born on 20 Jul 1828. At the age of 69, Henry Marian died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 20 Feb 1898. Buried in Feb 1898 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

Served as a Sergeant in Company G, Seventh Cavalry, U.S., during the American Civil War (verified by Seventh Tennessee Cavalry personnel roster).

On 15 Nov 1854 when Henry Marian was 26, he married Elizabeth BRANDON, daughter of Jonathan BRANDON (1798-1848) & Minerva ? (1803-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 30 Oct 1837 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 64, Elizabeth died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 20 Jan 1902. Buried in 1902 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

They had one child:

John Evert. Born on 21 Jun 1860 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 11, John Evert died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 24 Jan 1872. Buried in Jan 1872 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

9. Ansel W. ROARK. Born on 29 Sep 1830 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 40, Ansel W. died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1871. Buried in 1871 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Military: Served in the Confederate Army in Arkansas. He was blinded and later moved back to Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 9 Feb 1859 when Ansel W. was 28, he married Margaret TOSH, daughter of John TOSH Junior (1802-) & Ellender SCOTT (1805-1860), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born in 1826. At the age of 52, Margaret died in Carroll County, Tennessee in 1878. Buried in 1878 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

10. Winey A. ROARK. Born on 7 Mar 1832 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 80, Winey A. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 4 Apr 1912. Buried in Apr 1912 in Enochs Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

On 5 Mar 1849 when Winey A. was 16, she first married Robert SIMPSON, son of Ezekiel SIMPSON (1806-1870) & Mary ? (1806-1882), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 24 Nov 1829. At the age of 23, Robert died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 30 Aug 1853. Buried in Aug 1853 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850.

About 1859 when Winey A. was 26, she second married Richmond T. REED. Born in 1821 in Tennessee. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Alias/AKA: "Tye".

		ii.	Leelem. Born on 18 Mar 1863. At the age of 6, Leelem died in Sep 1869. Buried in Sep 1869 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 30 Dec 1869 when Winey A. was 37, she third married Gabriel V. ENOCHS, son of Thompson ENOCHS (1791-1867) & Sarah STEEN (1790-1859). Born on 22 Nov 1823 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 52, Gabriel V. died on 12 Feb 1876. Buried in Feb 1876 in Enoch Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 15th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1850. Resided in 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870. Alias/AKA: "Gabe".

11. Easter Ann ROARK. Born on 8 Oct 1838. At the age of 63, Easter Ann died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 31 Jan 1902. Buried in Jan 1902 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1870.

On 16 Nov 1854 when Easter Ann was 16, she married James E. GROSS, in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 24 Oct 1823 in North Carolina. At the age of 52, James E. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 26 Jan 1876. Buried in Jan 1876 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. 	v.	Susan Elizabeth. Born on 12 Jan 1864. At the age of 20, Susan Elizabeth died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 5 Aug 1884. Buried in Aug 1884 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

12. Nancy Emeline ROARK. Born on 16 May 1843. Resided in 12th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

On 16 Jan 1879 when Nancy Emeline was 35, she married William C. LEMMONS, son of Edward LEMMONS (1808-) & Eliza ? (1812-), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born about 1830 in Tennessee. Buried in Stanford Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 12th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1880.

They had the following children:
