Following information provided by Johnny Walker: Irvin C. Gibson died in 1896 after helping to prepare a neighbor's body for burial. In those days the neighbors served as undertakers most of the time. Apparently he caught pneumonia from the dead neighbor and died just a few days later. He was buried in a small family cemetery near the home of his father, Porter Gibson, which was located near the county corners of Benton, Carroll, Henderson, and Decatur counties. The old cemetery was located in Decatur County, Tennessee very near the county line. Porter Gibson was also buried in this same cemetery. J.W.C. Gibson had often talked of having his father, Irvin C. Gibson, moved from this backwoods cemetery to New Hope Cemetery near Yuma, Carroll Co., Tennessee where his mother was buried. In 1974, after the car accident which took the life of J.W.C. Gibson and his wife, J.W. Gibson decided to fulfill the wishes of his father and have the body of Irvin C. Gibson moved. The grave of Irvin C. Gibson is now marked at both the original burial site and at New Hope Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. On 23 Feb 1890 when Ervin Columbus was 22, he married Mary Eliza WAUGH, daughter of William Pitt WAUGH Junior (1844-1880) & Cyrena Elizabeth STACY (1843-1889), in Henderson County, Tennessee. Born on 8 Jul 1869 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 73, Mary Eliza died in Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee on 21 Jan 1943. Buried in Jan 1943 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Mollie". They had the following children:
22. Marion Segretis GIBSON. Born on 18 Jul 1872 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 89, Marion Segretis died in Stanton, Martin County, Texas on 10 Nov 1961. Buried in Nov 1961 in Evergreen Cemetery, Martin, Texas. On 11 Sep 1894 when Marion Segretis was 22, he married Martha Elizabeth WAUGH, daughter of William Pitt WAUGH Junior (1844-1880) & Cyrena Elizabeth STACY (1843-1889), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 11 May 1874 in Henderson County, Tennessee. At the age of 84, Martha Elizabeth died in Stanton, Martin County, Texas on 24 Apr 1959. Buried in Apr 1959 in Evergreen Cemetery, Martin, Texas. Alias/AKA: "Bettie". This family moved from Carroll County, Tennessee to Okmulgee County, Oklahoma about 1904. In 1914, they relocated to Mercedes, Texas. In about 1920 they moved again to Colorado City, Texas. Then in about 1923, they bought their farm near Stanton, Texas. They had the following children:

At the age of 61, Ferman Sanders died in Hoxie, Arkansas on 13 Dec 1935. On 9 Aug 1893 when Ferman Sanders was 19, he married Luther Artie Mae RAINEY (11) , daughter of Luther C. RAINEY (5) (1829-1864) & Cynthia Elizabeth ? (1832-1892), in Carroll County, Tennessee. Born on 5 May 1864 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, Luther Artie Mae died in Kennett, Dunklin County, Missouri on 11 Mar 1924. They had the following children:
