109. Lessie PHILLIPS. Born in 1894 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1900. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1910.

In 1921 when Lessie was 27, she married Willie V. PRATER, son of John J. PRATER III (1862-1900) & Mary Ann LYNCH (1854-1931), in Tennessee. Born in 1885 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, Willie V. died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 22 May 1971. Buried in May 1971 in Pisgah Cemetery, Atwood, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had one child:

110. Lucy A. PHILLIPS. Born on 7 Oct 1895 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 87, Lucy A. died on 19 May 1983. Buried in May 1983 in Barr's Spring Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920.

Lucy A. married Leonard HAMPTON, son of George C. HAMPTON (1855-1922) & Josephine SPRINGER (1866-1942). Born in 1894. Buried in Barr's Spring Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920.

They had one child:
i. Harbert G.. Born in 1917 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920.


111. Josie PHILLIPS. Born in 1898 in Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920.

Josie first married ? SHERRELL.

112. Iva E. PHILLIPS. Born on 16 Jul 1907 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 91, Iva E. died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 18 Dec 1998. Buried in Dec 1998 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1910. Resided in District 24, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. Occupation: Homemaker. Religion: Concord Baptist Church, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Iva E. Brandon, 91, Westport, died Wednesday, December 16, 1998, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Services were held on Friday, December 18, at Dilday Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Sellers Hill Cemetery. Reverend Rufus Chandler officiated. Mrs. Brandon, the daughter of the late William Samuel and Sarah Ellen Joyner Phillips, was born July 16, 1907, in Carroll County. She was the widow of Clyde Robert Brandon, who died in 1973, a member of the Concord Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. She is survived by four sons, Robert W. Brandon of Nashville, Wiburn Ray Brandon and Gerald Brandon, both of Huntingdon, and Billy Brandon of Westport; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

On 14 Oct 1923 when Iva E. was 16, she married Clyde Robert BRANDON, son of William Sherman BRANDON (1871-1961) & Vennie Loluetta JAMISON (1877-1942). Born on 10 Jan 1903 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 70, Clyde Robert died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 11 Nov 1973. Buried in 1973 in Sellers Hill Cemetery, Clarksburg, 13th District, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Clyde Brandon was a charter member of the Clarksburg Ruritan Club.

They had the following children:

ii. Wilburn Ray. Born on 7 May 1929. Resided in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 3 Dec 1953 when Wilburn Ray was 24, he married Bobbie Jean HARRIS, daughter of Earnie HARRIS (1899-1979) & Bertha U. ROBINSON (1899-2003).

224 iii. Gerald D. (1939-)
iv. Billy Fay. Born on 16 May 1933. Resided in Westport, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Billy Fay married Azlee PATE, daughter of Tom PATE (1884-1968) & Eva Harriett MOORE (1898-1969). Born on 24 Dec 1940.
