Occupation: Farmer. Alias/AKA: "Tom".

Obituary: G. T. Pritchard Dies at Home in Ambrose

Ambrose - George Thomas Pritchard, 81, retired farmer, died Wednesday at 5:20 p. m. at his home here after a seven month illness. Funeral will be held Friday at 3 p. m. in Ambrose Baptist Church with burial in Savoy Cemetery under the direction of Funderburk of Denison. Born Jan 11, 1875, in Tennessee, Pritchard moved to Texas at the age of 2 and moved to Ambrose from Dallas 21 years ago. He married Elizabeth Williford Sept 20, 1902 in Rockwall County. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon Burch of McKinney, Mrs. F. Webb of Coffeeville, Kansas and Mrs. D. J. Johnson of Borger; four brothers, Henry S. Pritchard of Ambrose, Charlie of Oklahoma City, Jim of California, and Oscar of Sulphur, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Daniels of Andrews, Mrs. Edna Little of Sulphur Oklahoma, and Mrs. Jannie Cox of Stafford, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.


On 20 Sep 1902 when George Thomas was 27, he married Elizabeth WILLIFORD, in Rockwall County, Texas. Born in 1886 in Texas. Alias/AKA: "Betty".

Henry Saul PRITCHARD. Born on 19 Apr 1878 in Texas. At the age of 85, Henry Saul died in Ambrose, Grayson County, Texas in Nov 1963. Resided in District Number 81, Johnson County, Texas in 1880. Resided in Justice Precinct 3, Shackleford County, Texas in 1900. Resided in Ambrose, Texas in 1956.

Charlie Milford PRITCHARD. Born on 1 Sep 1890 in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 79, Charlie Milford died in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma in Jan 1970. Buried on 21 Jan 1970 in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma. Resided in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1956. Religion: Southern Baptist. Cause of death: Massive Heart Attack.

Obituary: Charlie M. Pritchard, 79 of 6500 Cox Avenue, died Sunday at St Anthony Hospital. Services are pending with Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home. Pritchard was born in Texas. He came to Oklahoma in 1952 and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Elizabeth; a son, Lewis, 2206 SW53; four daughters, Mrs. L. E. McClanahan, Whittier, California; Mrs. Hazel Crow, 5813 SE 3, Midwest City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Marie Smith, Sacramento, California, and Mrs. Carolyn Berry, Weatherford; a brother, Jim, Los Angeles and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Daniels, Andrews, Texas.


On 14 Aug 1910 when Charlie Milford was 19, he married Nancy Elizabeth TURNEY, daughter of William TURNEY & Cora HARRIS, in Mt. View, Kiowa County, Oklahoma. Born on 29 Jul 1893 in Linsay, Garvin County, Oklahoma. At the age of 83, Nancy Elizabeth died in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma on 22 Oct 1976. Buried on 25 Oct 1976 in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma. Religion: Baptist.

They had the following children:
