43. Mamie Geneva DODD. Born on 5 Sep 1897 in Decatur County, Tennessee. At the age of 73, Mamie Geneva died in Gibson County, Tennessee on 2 Oct 1970. Buried in Oct 1970 in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Decatur County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Geneva Inman, 73, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gadsden Baptist Church with Rev. Roberts and Rev. Jim Douglas officiating. Burial in Decatur County with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Inman died Friday at Gibson County Hospital. She leaves her husband, C.C. Inman, her mother, Mrs. Florence Dodd of Lexington; three sons, Garthel Inman and Paul Inman of Gadsden and Rudolph Inman of Gary, Ind., four daughters, Mrs. Freda Bridges of Gibson, Mrs. Marion Williams of Gadsden, Mrs. Shirley Cantrell of Paducah, Ky. and Mrs. Iris Bennett of Dearfield Beach, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

On 3 Oct 1915 when Mamie Geneva was 18, she married Claude Clarence INMAN. Born on 1 Aug 1896 in Decatur County, Tennessee. At the age of 81, Claude Clarence died in Gadsden, Crockett County, Tennessee on 3 Feb 1978. Buried in Feb 1978 in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Decatur County, Tennessee. Occupation: Farmer.

Obituary: Services for Claude Clarence Inman, 81, were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ronk Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Whitman and Rev. D.L. Leach officiating. Burial in New Prospect Cemetery in Decatur County. Mr. Inman was found dead at his home in Gadsden, Friday. He was a retired farmer, was born in Decatur County. He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Fred Bridges of Gibson, Mrs. Marion Williams of Gadsden, Mrs. Shirley Banks of Humboldt and Iris Bennett of Deerfield Beech, Fla.; three sons, Garthel Inman and Paul Inman, both of Gadsden and Rudolph Inman of Gary, Ind.; one sister, Iris Fullerton, of Dallas, Texas.

They had the following children:
i. Garthel Almer. Resided in Gadsden,Tennessee in 1978.

ii. Garvis Rudolph. Resided in Gary, Indiana in 1978. Alias/AKA: "Rudolph".

iii. Freida Nell. Resided in Gibson County, Tennessee in 1970.

Freida Nell married Fred BRIDGES.

iv. Marion Virginia. Resided in Gadsden, Crockett County, Tennessee in 1970. Resided in Gadsden, Crockett County, Tennessee in 1978.

Marion Virginia married ? WILLIAMS.

v. Verlan Paul. Resided in Gadsden, Tennessee in 1978.

vi. Iris Earle. Resided in Deerfield Beach, Florida in 1978.

vii. Shirley Jean. Resided in Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky in 1970. Resided in Humboldt, Gibson County, Tennessee in 1978.

Shirley Jean married ? BANKS.


44. Verlie Patent DODD. Born on 23 Nov 1899. At the age of 91, Verlie Patent died in Lake Wales, Florida on 5 Jul 1991. Buried in Jul 1991 in Prospect Cemetery, Decatur County, Tennessee. Resided in Holladay, Benton County, Tennessee in Jan 1985.

Verlie Patent married V. Clarence INMAN. Born on 21 Jul 1900. At the age of 38, V. Clarence died on 23 Jun 1939. Buried in Jun 1939 in Prospect Cemetery, Decatur County, Tennessee.

They had one child:
i. Bonnie Nell. Born on 28 Dec 1922. At the age of 4, Bonnie Nell died on 28 Jan 1927. Buried in Jan 1927 in Prospect Cemetery, Decatur County, Tennessee.


45. Robert Vernon DODD. Born on 31 Dec 1901. At the age of 74, Robert Vernon died in Hayti, Missouri on 15 Sep 1976. Buried in Sep 1976. Resided in Caruthersville, Missouri. Alias/AKA: "Bob".
