37. Fred D. PRITCHARD. Born on 12 Feb 1898 in Sugar Tree, Decatur County, Tennessee. At the age of 67, Fred D. died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1966. Buried in 1966 in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Leach, Carroll County, Tennessee.

On 7 Aug 1919 when Fred D. was 21, he married Vera PRATER, in Sugar Tree, Decatur County, Tennessee. Born in 1901. At the age of 73, Vera died in 1974. Buried in 1974 in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Leach, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

38. Andrew T. PRITCHARD. Born on 13 Mar 1900. At the age of 81, Andrew T. died in Sugar Tree, Decatur County, Tennessee in 1982. Resided in 2nd District, Benton County, Tennessee in 1920.

On 18 Jul 1920 when Andrew T. was 20, he married Gurtha GRIGGS, in Sugar Tree, Decatur County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:

39. Elan N. PRITCHARD. Born on 23 Sep 1902. At the age of 84, Elan N. died in 1987.

Elan N. married Henry Nixon COTHAM.

40. Lettie PRITCHARD. Born in 1905. Resided in 2nd District, Benton County, Tennessee in 1920.

Lettie married Jesse PATTERSON Senior, son of Tom PATTERSON & Emma BROTHALL (-1978). Buried in Fairview Cemetery, Dyersburg, Dyer County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
i. Jesse. Born on 1 May 1928. At the age of 1, Jesse died on 16 Feb 1930.

ii. Margie.

Margie married Tom PARMETER.

iii. Betty. Born on 13 Jun 1935. At the age of 52, Betty died on 6 Jun 1988. Cause of death: Cancer.

Betty married Lois PRATER.

iv. Emma.

v. Jerry Paul.

Jerry Paul married Glenda THOMPSON.

vi. Joyce.

vii. Thomas.

Thomas married Joan McBRIDE.

viii. James Donald.

ix. Ray.

Ray married Elizabeth ANDERSON.


41. Minnie PRITCHARD. Born on 16 Feb 1913.

Minnie married Elmer WILLIAMS, son of Herman WILLIAMS & Janie WILKES. Born in 1911 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 78, Elmer died in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee on 1 Mar 1989. Buried in Mar 1989 in Carroll County Memorial Gardens, McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Services for Mr. Elmer H. Williams, 78, were held Friday, March 3rd, at Dilday Funeral Home, Inc., with Brothers Roy Goodrum and Don Readelheimer officiating. Services were concluded with burial at Memorial Gardens, McKenzie. Mr. Williams, a former owner of Williams Jewelry Store, died Wednesday, March 1st, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Huntingdon after a long illness. A Carroll County native, he was the son of the late Herman Williams and Janie Wilkes Williams. Mr. Williams was an active member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. He owned the jewelry store for 18 years before selling it in 1984. He was married to Minnie Pritchard Williams for 56 years. Besides his wife, he leaves two sisters, Mildred Fowler and Jeanette Hilliard, both of Huntingdon; his brother, Joe Williams of Paris, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Williams' son, Captain James P. Williams, U.S.M.C., preceded his father in death. Pallbearers were Donald Orr, Harold Orr, Jackie Cotham, Jimmy Pritchard, Dewey Pritchard and Toy McRay.

They had one child:
i. James Pritchard. Born on 31 May 1932. At the age of 33, James Pritchard died in Republic of Vietnam on 19 Mar 1966. Buried in Mar 1966 in Carroll County Memorial Gardens, McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Military: Served as a Captain, United States Marine Corps.


42. Paul I. PRITCHARD. Born on 10 Oct 1916 in Sugar Tree, Decatur County, Tennessee. At the age of 86, Paul I. died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 28 Aug 2003. Buried on 30 Aug 2003 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee. Resided in 2nd District, Benton County, Tennessee in 1920.

Obituary: Paul I. Pritchard, 86, retired foreman for Gaines Manufacturing, died Thursday at the Regional Hospital of Jackson. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Brummitt Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of McKenzie Church of Christ. Mr. Pritchard, the widower of Louise Pritchard, leaves a daughter, Linda Spain of Gleason; a son, Don Pritchard of Memphis; a sister, Minnie Williams of Huntingdon, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.


Obituary: Services for Paul I. Pritchard, 86, were on Saturday, August 30 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Beal and Bro. Jim Roberts officiating. Interment followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McKenzie. Mr. Pritchard, a retired foreman for Gaines M.F.G., died on Thursday, August 28 at Jackson Regional Hospital. He was born October 10, 1916 in Sugar Tree to the late Della Taylor Pritchard and George Pritchard. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Pritchard. He was a member of the McKenzie Church of Christ and was a World War II army veteran. Survivors include one son, Don Pritchard of Memphis, one daughter, Linda (Gene) Spain of Gleason; one sister, Minnie Williams of Huntingdon; two grandchildren, Mike Spain and Mark (Stacy) Spain and one great-grandchild, Allyson Spain.


Paul I. married Louise WILSON. Born in 1921. At the age of 82, Louise died in Milan, Gibson County, Tennessee on 6 Aug 2003. Buried on 8 Aug 2003 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Obituary: Louise Pritchard, 82, telephone operator for BellSouth, died Wednesday at NHC Healthcare in Milan. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Brummitt Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. She attended McKenzie Church of Christ and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Pritchard, the wife of Paul Pritchard, also leaves a son, Don Pritchard of Memphis; a daughter, Linda Spain of Gleason, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.


They had the following children:
i. Don. Resided in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee in Aug 2003.
