Family of Edmond Franklin PRITCHARD (10) & Sarah Lenora PARISH

32. Huley Eldon PRITCHARD. Born in 1894. At the age of 49, Huley Eldon died in 1943. Buried in 1943 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Huley Eldon married Ludie KING, daughter of Elisha KING & Cordelia UMSTEAD. Born in 1896. At the age of 80, Ludie died in 1976. Buried in 1976 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

They had the following children:
66 i. Huley Gladen (1918-1991)
ii. Mac Dayton. Born on 19 Nov 1919. At the age of 51, Mac Dayton died in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee on 22 Nov 1970. Buried in Nov 1970 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee.

Military: During World War II, Mac Pritchard served his country with honor and gallantry. He was an infantry soldier, serving through the many battles throughout the European Theater of Operations. He was wounded in action. He received the Bronze Star, two Bronze Battle Bars, the Army Good Conduct Medal, and other commendations. Be a total disabled veteran, he was a lifetime member of the DAV and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Obituary: Services for Mac Pritchard, 51, were to be at 3 p.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church near Yuma with the Rev. Mitchell Rayburn officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery with Dilday Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Pritchard died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis.

33. Ruth PRITCHARD. Born on 6 Mar 1898. At the age of 77, Ruth died on 24 Feb 1976. Buried in Feb 1976 in Sand Ridge Cemetery, Henderson County, Tennessee. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1944. Resided in Lexington, Henderson County, Tennessee in 1972.

Ruth married Otis WISE.

They had the following children:
i. Lois Ray.

ii. Nell. Nell died in Alabama on 11 Sep 1989.

Cause of Death: Nell Wise died from injuries sustained in a car accident in Alabama on September 11, 1989.

Nell married Earl GARNER.

34. Dolan R PRITCHARD. Born in 1905 in Tennessee. Dolan R died in Steele, Missouri. Resided in Cooter, Missouri in 1944. Resided in Cooter, Missouri in 1972.

Dolan R married Irene ?.

They had the following children:
i. Alford Dugan.

ii. Mary Love. Mary Love died in Texas in 1992.

iii. Daisy E. Born in 1931. At the age of 62, Daisy E died in Amarillo, Texas on 21 Jan 1993. Buried in Jan 1993 in Hayti, Missouri.

Daisy E married Lloyd LUCEY.

iv. Jo Maxine.

35. Charles Floyd PRITCHARD. Born on 22 Feb 1910 in Yuma, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 63, Charles Floyd died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 3 Dec 1973. Buried in Dec 1973 in Highland Memorial Gardens, Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in 1944. Resided in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee in 1972. Alias/AKA: "Floyd".

Obituary: Floyd Pritchard, a farmer of the Youngs Crossing Community, died at noon Monday in Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a long illness. He was 63. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bible Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in charge. The son of Edmond F. and Nora Parish Pritchard, Mr. Pritchard was born and reared in Carroll County and received his education in Carroll County public schools. He was a member of the Bible Grove Baptist Church and the Madison County Farm Bureau. Mr. Pritchard was married Feb 22, 1929, to the former Virgie Ann Hinson who survives him. Other survivors include three sons, Mainord Pritchard, Larry Pritchard and Gerald Pritchard, all of Jackson; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Dowdell of Tuscumbia, Ala. and Mrs. Loretta Ann Sumler of Jackson; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Capone of New Hampshire, Mrs. Ruth Wise and Mrs. Madge Bolen, both of Lexington; and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers to serve are Atlas Turner, Gilford Longmire, Earnest Pope, Mack Brown, and Ralph Haley.

On 22 Feb 1929 when Charles Floyd was 19, he married Virgie Ann HINSON, daughter of Jim HINSON & Docie TIBBS, in Humboldt, Gibson County, Tennessee. Born on 22 Jan 1911 in Hickman County, Tennessee. At the age of 72, Virgie Ann died in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee on 23 May 1983.

They had the following children:
i. Charles Lemar. Born on 18 May 1930 in Gibson, Gibson County, Tennessee. Charles Lemar died in Gibson, Gibson County, Tennessee on 3 Jul 1930. Buried in Jul 1930 in Coble Cemetery, Gibson County, Tennessee. Cause of death: Pneumonia.

ii. Shirley Jean.

Shirley Jean first married Kenneth DOWDELL. Born in 1924 in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. At the age of 65, Kenneth died in Tuscumbia, Alabama on 30 May 1989. Buried in Jun 1989 in Highland Memorial Gardens, Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.

Shirley Jean second married William DOWDELL.

iii. Mainord Eugene.

On 3 Sep 1954 Mainord Eugene first married Billie Jo CROSBY.

On 13 Jul 1966 Mainord Eugene second married Marcia ARCH.

Mainord Eugene third married Cindy PARROTT.

iv. Larry Wayne.

Larry Wayne married Patsy Lou GRAVES.

v. Loretta Ann.

Loretta Ann first married Jerry Dalton SUMLER. Born on 14 Oct 1940. At the age of 52, Jerry Dalton died in Columbia, Tennessee in 1993.

Loretta Ann second married Kenneth TAYLOR.

vi. Gerald Lee.

Gerald Lee married Mary Ann MARCOM.

36. Raymelle PRITCHARD. Resided in San Antonio, Texas in 1944. Resided in Annandale, Virginia in 1972. Resided in New Hampshire in 1994.

Raymelle first married Oliver HINSON, son of Jim HINSON & Docie TIBBS.

Raymelle second married William CAPONE.

They had the following children:
i. William Franklin.

William Franklin married Carol Leslie VAUGHN.

ii. Carolyn Rae.
