242. Daniel Gale PENDERGRASS. Daniel Gale first married Jackie HAYES, daughter of Jack HAYES Junior (1925-1987) & Lois H. HEDGE (1922-). Born on 31 Aug 1952 in Huntingdon, Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 42, Jackie died in Nashville, Tennessee on 2 Oct 1994. Buried in 1994 in Roans Creek Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Religion: Roans Creek Church of Christ. Cause of death: Cancer. Obituary: Mrs. Jackie Pendergrass, 42, of Clarksburg died Sunday October 2 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services were conducted October 4 at the Roans Creek Church of Christ. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Brothers Charles Thomason, Jesse Pinckley, and Lynn Stapleton officiating. Mrs. Pendergrass was born August 31, 1952 in Huntingdon. She was a member of the Roans Creek Church of Christ and was employed at First Bank in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Hayes, who died in December 27,1987, and a nephew, Charles Ray Pruett, Jr., who died July 16,1979. Mrs. Pendergrass is survived by her husband, Daniel Gale Pendergrass, a daughter, Kelli Pendergrass, her mother, Lois Hayes, and two sisters, Myra Longmire, and Martha Pruett, all of Clarksburg. She also leaves a niece, Julia Longmire, and three nephews; Earl Longmire, Jason Pruett, all of Clarksburg and Dalton Orr of Clarksville. Pallbearers who served were Pete Smith, Scotty Bennett, Ralph Rush, Gary Collins, Wib Evans, and Darryl Presley. Honorary Pallbearers who served were the employees of First Bank of Lexington. They had one child:
