At the age of 94, Idella died in Bruceton, Carroll County, Tennessee on 24 Oct 1988. Buried in 1988 in Humbles Baptist Church Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Religion: New Crossroads Baptist Church. Alias/AKA: "Della". Obituary: Idella Allison Pendergrass, 94, of Bruceton, died October 24, 1988 at her home in Bruceton. Funeral services were conducted October 25, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. at Humbles Baptist Church with Bros. Dwight Haskins and Clarence Carter officiating. Burial was in Humbles Cemetery. Born August 11, 1894 to James Allison and the former Lucy Mills, Mrs. Pendergrass was a native of Madison County but had lived most of her life in Carroll County. She was the widow of Fred Pendergrass who died in 1961, a member of the New Cross Roads Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Mable Wilson of Bruceton; four sons, Malcolm Pendergrass, Ross Pendergrass and Homer Pendergrass, all of Huntingdon and James Pendergrass of Dickson; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Obituary: Services for Mrs. Della Pendergrass, 94, of Bruceton, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 25 at Humble Chapel Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Pendergrass died Monday morning, October 24 at the home of her daughter, Mable Wilson, in Bruceton. She was a member of New Crossroads Baptist Church. She also leaves four sons, Malcolm Pendergrass, Ross Pendergrass, and Homer Pendergrass, all of Huntingdon and James Pendergrass of Dickson; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. Dilday Funeral Home in Huntingdon had charge of the arrangement. They had the following children:
40. Erin PENDERGRASS. Born about 1899. Erin first married C.J. McCOLLUM. Born on 18 Oct 1878. At the age of 52, C.J. died on 2 Jul 1931. Buried in 1931 in Palestine Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. They had the following children:

Buried in May 1972 in Shiloh Cemetery, Carroll County, Tennessee. Alias/AKA: "Con". 41. John R. PENDERGRASS. Born on 1 Mar 1906 in Carroll County, Tennessee. At the age of 59, John R. died in Carroll County, Tennessee on 3 Sep 1965. Resided in 7th District, Carroll County, Tennessee in 1920. John R. married Edith SCOTT, daughter of William Early SCOTT (1881-1967) & Callie June WILLIAMS (1883-1949). Born on 23 Mar 1907 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee.
